Well it’s about the story (What Kevin mentioned in the full pitch but it’s kind of cut off here), they met in theatre (she did that acrobatics stuff) and they fell in love, he made the pancakes to impress her. and they both got laid off cuz of covid. David being in here is also random but he had no equity in the company but became good friends with the couple before they were laid off so David was being s good friend vouching for the brand. It seems so random though put out of context 😅

I think the deal just makes sense for mark, he wouldn’t miss the money and Gwennith would do all the heavy lifting getting the diapers in the hands of her cult members. He would have probably made money. However what usually happens is the deal breaks down when the sharks get access to the companies financials. Most viewers would think these companies are just small businesses started in someones garage, but the reality is most of them already have a shitload of investors and are leveraged up to their eyeballs in debt.
