Attacca School of Music: Moving Music Forward

Here at Attacca we believe that music is about much more than the notes. Music is a place where students find their voice, build their confidence, learn responsibility, and reach heights they never thought possible!
We wanted to create a curriculum that carefully balances the need for enjoyment and sense of achievement, and provide a space for students of all ages to come who appreciate what music can offer. From a young age, music lessons are not only mirroring important educational development stages and milestones, but also teaching invaluable skills. Our goal for our students is to not only help them to reach their musical aspirations, but also help them build their identity through the act of being a musician.
We’ve put a strong emphasis on building confidence through monthly performances that both provide a chance to build community, but also push students to strive for what they are capable of achieving!
Our strings program, offering violin, viola, and guitar, focuses on building a strong foundation from the start and guiding students to finding their place among many wonderful youth orchestras and chamber groups. Students can enjoy a fusion of repertoire and techniques from the Suzuki, European, and Ukrainian methods.
Our piano program is built on the belief that piano is a universal instrument that allows or a deep understanding of not only the keyboard, but also a well rounded sense for musicality through theory, composition, and improvisation. Students are paced for a balance in reading and coordination skills, as well as focusing on building healthy technique.
Being a part of a community where music is meant to bring us together, is something special that builds memories that stay with you for life. It’s a wonderful place where you see happy curious kids grow up into confident and creative young adults, and this is what Attacca is about.

I was wondering at 1st... Congratulations on your own school!!! We spoke at start of COVID19 when you worked elsewhere... I know someone looking for classical guitar... May I ask who teaches it at your school? Do you have any online students? Are you hiring?
