@ after watching your first video, we’re just up the road apiece just north of Venice. We came here with three dogs but lost one to old age. A Great Dane. 💔 Our current two are a Great Pyredane and a Cane Corso. Our little concrete house has been a champ through Ian, Debby, Helene & Milton. Grateful. Loving the positive content!🙏🏼Oh and I saw the tour of your boat on NautiStyles!😅

@@lisah933 Nautistyles is how we found the 53PC, and then was very surprised AFTER we purchased it to realize it was the EXACT boat they had toured (hull 2), I grew up with a Great Dane ... such gentle giants. Sorry for your loss!

I would have introduced them to my long range vessel protection system because before I became a sailor I was a biker after my service in the US Army and did exceptionally well in the long range targeting.

All I had was a GoPro and a snorkel mask, lol

This video screams of entitlement. Not all of us can afford a fancy boat. Some of us are lucky to have our jet skis and be able to make the trip to the Bahamas is a dream. I've done it once myself with a large group. Not all jet skiers are terrible people. Yes, they should not have dropped anchor on the reef. But I imagine if you would have mentioned that there are mooring balls available I think you'd find that they are fairly reasonable people. Jet skiers are not the same as the Hell's Angels. Most of them, especially the ones that can make the trip to the Bahamas tend to be in their 40s or '50s. Even on a jet ski it's not a cheap trip.

I'm sorry you feel like we are acting entitled. We certainly don't think ALL jet ski folks are bad (in fact, we like to jet ski on occasion), but this situation WAS bad. We came across this group all summer and they were rude weather on the water or off, and we tried telling them multiple times about the reef (not to mention, you're in a protected park, so you kind of should already be aware of the rules ... including many shallow creeks that it is clearly posted NO JET SKI's, yet they continue to go back them anyway and full speed.

Your dogs are no fools- with the only shade on that beach. It's hot for them too. They want that towel, along with maybe a Corona or two Dad. Jet Ski sorta mafia. Be careful what you do film - out there all by yourself when the local authorities are mere hours or... days away. Fast movers, looking for fast cash deal opportunities. Intimation by group force is one thing, vs high seas robbery, which is modern day piracy. An emergency dingy defense bag- with some simple items might make a difference. Telescopic aluminum 8 ft boarding pike, 20 ft. bear spray can, flare gun, flaying knife, etc. Paradise one day - not so much the next day. Cool hidden beach. Dog approval rating score - 8.9. More shade- one umbrella just isn't gonna cut it Dad, more toys - tennis ball, Frisbee, floating yellow duck, gallon of water, plus treats. Mega yachts - more money, more amenities, deeper draft limitations. You get the same view- for less money, kinda less amenities.... and you have a swallower draft than they do. Go where they can't anchor so close. Cool background music...

Thank you for the thoughtful comment! You’re right-our dogs are no fools seeking out the shade, and we’ve since learned to bring more comforts for them. The jet ski situation was a reminder of how quickly things can escalate, especially with me in snorkel gear while they were on jet skis. It taught me to stay prepared and cautious. We’ve made improvements since then and are better equipped for future outings. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned as we continue learning and sharing our adventures!

Sounds like you are the one who thinks you own the ocean. Disruptive behavior? Karen & Ken the Whiner family.

Hopefully not. We try to be really respectful of other boaters, especially with our three dogs. I’m sure we’ve failed at times though.
