I would like to thank everyone in Laika for their dedication to making stop-motion animation. You're doing AMAZING job.

The level of rapid prototyping that Laika gets up to is just unreal! I hope this studio's around forever!

Stop motion is insanely time consuming. There is a reason why ally only 2 major studios that work that way

I have such high respect for Laika I want to have a studio just like there one day any movie plans for 2020 or 2021?

I love the new tech and effort Laika injects into every movie, however it must be frustrating that they keep getting better and better and evolving stop motion but their movies are making less and less money. Money wise, after Coraline, every movie has made less movie than the one before (and Coraline was the cheaper to make).

I really don't understand the point of doing the facial expressions in stop motion, if you're just gonna sculpt each frame digitally, and then print it To me it just seems like a waste of resources Just animate the whole facial expression part digitally

If animation would be just for kids than no adults would become animators and there would be no crowd to watch that whole presentation

All there movies are great but you gotta admit the first two movies just had a different appearance to the newer ones. Coraline had a different artistic sorta vibe, I know it was different technology but it just looked so much more darker? Idk

When you have director Henry Selick and the powerful writing of Neil Gaimen. I think we get the best of animation and horror flick!

Thanks for subtitltles, as a Spanish speaker is nice, a suggest at the beginning let's say at 1:200 till 1:31 that subtitles cover the names of the ones speaking.

LAIKA gives me hope - in the age of cutting corners and rampant CGI in blockbuster movies - that there are still people who care about the art of filmmaking. Who understand what it means to make a movie with love, and not just keeping the bottom dollar in mind. Every time LAIKA makes a movie, it’s magic. It’s a dedicated team of hundreds, working for hundreds of thousands of hours to create a 2 1/2 hour final product. No person on Earth would do that if they didn’t truly love and believe in the art they’re creating, and every time you watch a LAIKA production, you can just TELL.
