You lucked out big time that your campus had good accommodations for you. As someone who’s Latino I can totally relate to the whole thing of your parents dropping everything to help you out. Generous yes but it does hold you back too. Oh by the way as far as the cheese goes at least you didn’t accidentally buy blue cheese 😁

Yes, I really liked my disability department. Some of my professors were pretty nice too and help me get by when there was something that wasn’t so accessible. Yes blue cheese would have been horrible LOL

Yes sometimes if family is to helpful that can hinder you from actually explain your independence and facing your fear of doing things on your own. The family also has to understand that they have to let you do things on your own sometimes.
