Attenuation basin (New lake) development at Ditchford with extra disused railway scene

Because of the amount of Nene wetlands Wellingborough is about to lose in aid of Stanton Cross housing development. An attenuation basin has been created at Ditchford quite close to the ancient Roman settlement at Chester House. Since early 2022 I have seen this land change drastically and this Saturday something strange has got me questioning. What have they found?
I also decided to scan the disused Wellingborough to Rushden & Higham railway which I do believe there are plans to extend the greenway from Rushden to Wellingborough would see the line repurposed.

Purple what a great video and the music was amazing! Keep up documenting the changes. Ive been in the area 45 years and boy is it changing along with my life as we all get older. My dad tells a story of when i was a young boy how i wanted to go fishing, so we walked to Ditchford... he said i hadnt been there 20 minutes and i said i wanted to go home but was to tired to walk back.... he then carried me with all his kit almost two miles home... what a dad! ❤

Purple I have to say this video touched my heart, it's truly amazing. Not because of the drone footage but because it highlights your commitment and dedication in documenting all the changes (Railway, Road and other construction) in your local area and the effects good or bad they have had and possibly will have in the future of the local people. I think in Documenting such things you are providing a lasting record for future generations, your boys are too young to appreciate those changes at the moment but the footage will be there for when they are old enough. More Power to your Elbow Purple, I for one appreciate the work you put in. 👌👍.
