Hearing Paige say cuss words like it’s crazy but like I’m not really freaking out because she’s 22 years old and she usually doesn’t like to cuss because she knows she has a younger audience of fans and doesn’t wanna influence it but if she’s asked a question that has a cuss word in it like she’s obviously gonna say it. I hate when people over exaggerate. I will defend her till the day she dies. I love her so so much.

I’m just catching this for the first time. I’m a HUGE W FAN ! CC is the best player in the league at this moment. Sadly I see this show is après the Olympics. The Fever is running on all five ,make that seven. #22 is killing it since the Olympic break. How about the Phoenix game ! Then Seattle when CC - AB - Kels Mitchell, and Lex Hull were killing it. Now about the Olympics. You both know if Gabby Williams* had been three or four inches back it would have gone into OT , and in my opinion France would have won. Sheryl Reeve is a joke. But you both know that but are too diplomatic to comment. I won’t dwell on that. Wait until you have seen the All Star Game ! Caitlin is the ROTY,and if Indiana plays like they have since the break she could be the MVP. I’m going to see if I can find your show after the All Star Game. I will be looking forward to hear what you both have to say about that game . * Just heard that Seattle got Gabby today . - She refused Angels offer for going to Chicago - The Storm game was the second blowout albeit Gabby hasn’t played a game yet. Why are you two not applauding Caitlin Clark, she is the one that has changed everything in the W, and for the W writ large. Look at stats since Clark got hot about seven games ago. CC has made every hater look like fools. Angel is not even close to Caitlin. In my opinion they should take double doubles out of the stats, it’s bullshit ! Angel Reese just catches her own rebounds two possibly three times, and they count that as two or three rebounds in the stats ! - Most being her own - I would like the two of you address that issue. You know it’s the Caitlin Clark Effect that is going to make many W players wealthy . Ps. CC,s pass almost full court to Kels who was running full out, and CC times the ball to land in her hands for an easy dime, and no defense close enough to do anything … Ps. I’m a guy if you haven’t got that yet : )

You both look very uncomfortable in the shorts you are wearing. Tucking them in at 18:18. Are you required to wear those clothes like some news and sports ankers used to require of female announcers, to drawn viewership? Like cheerleaders at NFL games. This show is before the All-Star game but I hope you both find apparel that you feel comfortable enough in that you don't even think of having to "cover-up" when you're on air. It was like watching Caitlin and hunched over in her Time interview in the V neck dress - she keeps adjusting the shoulder straps that basically don't move and hunched over.

How is it possible that you all don’t see this coming as far as fan base and growth? Especially with social media. I find it shocking how naive and little foresight the old guard have displayed. You e wanted this attention for years and are completely unprepared when it happens. Also, the league needs to provide some guidance for pre and postgame interviews. A large portion of these women are incredibly condescending, unappealing and embarrassing

So is it experts opinion the way player act out on Rookies on live TV are OK wholesome behaviours. Are there two truths, I’m missing. On the subject of looking after the well being of young eager player does Megan feel she had the players of the national teams interests at heart as the performance and the actions demonstrated seem to come across very differently.Im no expert but it would appear that their are conflicting interests.Which I find difficult to understand how supporting diversity and women’s issues are being championed.The first 20 minute of this happy chat ! was painful skirting around a subject which is so brutal obvious. So where does transparency,openness,empathy and being real and upfront come into play in your expert opinions.Also just a note,try to read your guests feelings as it comes across not as humour,but mocking belittling and undermining.But hey I suppose your enjoyment and flippancy’s come first.Your the experts.Or are there other truths im missing that rest of the human race with any emotional intelligence cannot see happening !

They know each other. This is far from the first time they’ve ever met. So all the joking around is just that, friends joking around. So your emotional intelligence is pretty stupid.

Paige Bueckers is funny but why is everyone from UConn pushing her so much? What happened with Caitlin Clark was organic and her fan base grew from people recognizing true basketball skills. With Paige Bueckers it has been Geno pushing her as the best player ever since she was a freshman. Then when injured Geno and all the UConn alumni in WNBA and ESPN pushed continuously... "If Paige was not injured you would all be watching Paige not Caitlin. Paige would be breaking all the records not Caitlin. " then Geno goes on podcasts saying Caitlin will never make it in the WNBA and Diana Taurasi puts Caitlin down and says Paige Bueckers is the real star. People are watching all the games and know for themselves the style of each player in the NCAA and WNBA. Plus, can see everyone's personalities.
@SkiLILs3 ай бұрын
Paige in High School was touted as the next female superstar, the hype has been there. CC has surpassed what was expected and shes almost like an outsider to the pro sports landscape. There's a buzz to her that Paige isnt close to matching.
@phDST19133 ай бұрын
The reason was because Geno is a coach. As an expert he sees more than the average person when it comes to skill and talent. He himself said that Paige was more all-around player which meant she's strong in more categories than just shooting the 3 and assists. Caitlin does a few things well, where as Paige had been demonstrating (for a long time) both offensive and defensive strengths. We've heard about Paige since her high school days. Didn't know Caitlin existed until last year for me. And I've been a WBB fan a long, long time. So I don't think it's him pushing UConn players but in general he can see the differences in skill between them. Try not to make it more than it was.
@SkiLILs3 ай бұрын
@phDST1913 he also represents the old guard. She's brought new life to a sport that's been very tight knit. His emotions cloud his judgment, I was on the Paige train when she was in HS playing for Hopkins. She was touted as the next superstar, and she's shown to be that, BUT she's not transcendent. She doesn't elevate women's sports anywhere near Caitlin has. It's apples to oranges.
@phDST19133 ай бұрын
@@SkiLILs I wouldn't say CC elevates sports because of her play though. If we are honest, she's getting the 'Larry Bird' effect... a good player that's gained a following because of breaking the stereotypes of her own fans. I wouldn't say it is solely her play because others have been ballin' in the W for decades.
@SkiLILs3 ай бұрын
@phDST1913 so I get it. Some of the stats are suspect. She might have more points than Aja Wilson did as a rookie, but she's played like 4 more games and averages 6 more minutes per game than Aja did her rookie season. Some of it is a glaze, along with several other factors. I think the way she approaches the game, she takes a leadership role. She's VERY competitive. That's going to get a rise out of people, especially when there's a new feel to things. In large part because of her. There's a power struggle. There's a us v. them mentality between one faction of the league and the new fans/CC supporters. I stay pretty neutral with the conversations about it all today, 4 years ago I said the league was going to get good when Paige Bueckers arrived. Missed it by a year.
