SPOILERS: He asked if she was a shapeshifter, and she says, "what, in real life?" Then she looks to the side and says "Of course not". (The Shadow King does shapeshift: Lenny and the Angriest Boy for example) Conan clarifies that she's not playing an older man, and she replies "its complicated and hard to explain." (The Shadow King is actually playing as Lenny) She says, "I am many things and an Old Man is one of them." (Which is actually quite literal in the show and yet you'll take it as a figurative statement because Conan said jokingly, "That quote will follow you for the rest of your life" Implying he took it to mean herself not her character) It was all clever double entendres that you can easily overlook.

I love how this whole segment it was never mentioned that when she got the part .... they told her they can revise it to suit her more. And Aubery was the one who said no .... keep it as is, I will sell this; cause she's that great undeniably. But it was never the creators or showrunners intention to Have her play the role in that form nor was it a stunt to sell the show. Aubery's daring decision cemented something to the role and she brought it to life in an amazing way.

Well, that was a mistake, so I immediately re-watched them in the right order. 😄
