Emily The Criminal is one of 2022's most overlooked movie. Aubrey Plaza gave the best performance of her career in that movie. If you haven't seen it, you should, it's absolutely great. I wish there was a better studio to market that movie

I think what fascinates me is she breaks all social conventions especially for a celebrity…she’s anxious, confident, awkward but hilarious all at once. I did not see White Lotus yet, but Emily the Criminal was a GREAT GREAT movie and not only did Aubrey Plaza nail it, everyone in the movie nailed it. The story moved along great and built suspense right until the ending. Not using guns made the movie better .... not because of any political angle, im pro 2nd amendment anyways...... it made it better because most of the types of crimes and criminals portrayed in this movie do not often involve guns. This made the movie not come off as over the top and hollywoody. It gave the movie a sense of being real. Very well done.
