Great informative video if only I'd found it earlier, changed a faulty injector on my Q7 with the p0204 code using the same old stretch bolt and no cleaning 🙈, tbh it lasted 10 miles before throwing up the p2146 code and I'm guessing this is due to my rushed dodgy mechanical skills 🤦‍♂️

So there is no stretch bolts for these injectors,just 2 nuts?

What's the nm on the 2 nuts that hold the under bracket with the two holes in it ?

Never done it with Ross Tech . But i believe its possible , just search in google , Ross Tech injector coding . I use Launch X431 for this procedure .

Hi. I've dropped the last nut into the valve cover. Any idea of how to retrieve it? It was the very last nut that holds the injector in place..

Good video. Does the copper washer just sit inside the recessed hole the injector slides into.. Is it easily removed?

Thanks Gareth ! Most of the time , the copper washer comes out with the injector itself , but if it remain in the hole you going to need something to get it out from there . Its important to change the washers , everytime you remove and reinstall the injectors .

Crank thanks for the reply. Yes, I have a ticking noise which sounds like it's coming from one of the drivers side injectors. (possibly centre one). I'm told it could well be the washers that need changing.

It is possible , but most of the time is the injector itself . Did you check the correction factors in VAG COM ?

Hello! You have some air in the fuel , probably some little crack in the fuel lines .
