im over here building an 09 rn and have questions like hell. did you do a turbo muffler delete and diverter valve spacer as well? i did both and instantly started getting maf and running rich codes. replaced maf, fixing to replace diverter valve.. also installed an IE cold air while waiting on the diverter valve.. just looking for answers i cant seem to find on audiforums. drop your socials if youre interested in helping a fellow dreamer/still live on this account

i got a CEL when i installed a diverter valve spacer and over the span of 2 weeks progressivly made my car idle worse and worse to the point it wouldnt idle at all in the mornings ended up towing it to the nearest service center they told me a connecter was disconnected which i found suspect and bought a DV+ and have had 0 issues since super weird and youre the only other person thats had my problem. just thought id add my 2 cents :)

ALSO went through a pair off plugs during that as well mechanic said they had been foulled 3 days after i had installed them thinking that would fix the issue

Im looking to do the same thing! Did the required *Downpipe* for the stage 2 tune come with the CTS turbo exhaust, or did you have to purchase a separate High flow Catalytic converter. I have the CAI and the intercooler, as well as the full cts catback. Im just not sure if i need to buy a HFC. Any help would be great. Thanks man

Yes stage 2 requires high flow cat or catless downpipe

what mods did you have to get before going stage 2? did you get a bigger intercooler? cold air intake?

For stage 2 the “required mods” are a Downpipe and a cold air intake without them it won’t reach its full potential or power marks. And intercooler isn’t necessarily required but if you want to not overheat in the hot summers or doing back to back pulls then I would strongly advise getting an intercooler. Hope this helps👍🏼

Hey I have a question, it’s possible to use 91 on this stage 2 tune, I’m not sure if I would go with stage 1 or 2, the thing is that for stage 1 I don’t need any bolt on, but I’m planing on getting an intake and exhaust and I believe that’s what the stage 2 requires but around where I live is very hard to find 93 octane so that’s why I want to stay with the 91 😅, also another question what exhaust you have on your car ?

On ie website it says stage 1 and 2 are 91 and 93 compatible. So yes 91 on stage 2 should be fine

My a5 dose that sound with out a tune and if I Rev my motor slight crackle and I get loud pop. All you have to do is muffler delete and second resonator delete.

Stage 2 is 290 hp it’s a light car you’ll beat eco boost stock wrx things in that realm my grandfathers Taurus sho still beats me a little but that’s tuned as well

Hey I just bought a 2010 A4 Quattro about a month ago, be careful with the oil consumption, mine is consuming 1qt every 450 miles which is really really bad and apparently the problem is the piston rings and that’s a $5000 or more repair, my car only has 51k miles and it’s in like new condition exterior and interior, I don’t think I paid a fair price for the car because the place that sold me the car wasn’t honest about this issue so I’m filling a report with the consumer protection of my state here in Canada to see if I can return the car and I have my money back, I have been in so so many cars from a 2006 Toyota corolla to new Acura NSX, Huracán performante, Mclaren 720s and much more, and I still think this is a really really nice car, it’s feel really good at least to me is the perfect size and I like the exterior and interior design, sporty, simple and a bit fancy but nothing is exaggerated, but at least to me it’s not worth the headache
