Hello, as far as I know, it is not so easy to find speakers (new) with the BOSE system! I think it's best to replace them with speakers from another brand (Hertz, Focal, Audio sistem, Eton) The first time, it would be good to move away from the door and see exactly which speakers you have on the car! I have seen a car with BOSE grills, but it had a multimedia system with normal speakers like the ones in my video! You must have a code on the speaker housing, look for it on the internet and see if you can find something in your country, as in Germany, for example, I can only find used speakers from BOSE! They are not worth buying because in a short time they will explode just like yours!

Hi, I didn't quite understand what you mean. Are you talking about reusing the speaker housing as an adapter ring for another speaker? I saw this method on someone, but I didn't try it! I bought extra adapter rings to mount the new speakers! I did a super satisfying Audio project on the Audi A6 C7, new videos will follow with their installation on the car + the entire wiring redone for the 14 speakers!!

@@AD-xe6rl Hello, the speakers from BOSE are totally different from the normal ones that I have in the video. As well as the B&O ones, they are different from the BOSE ones and from the normal ones. The BOSE and B&O ones have enclosures in the doors, the normal ones don't, you can see that in my video. As for the sound, yes, it is different because the BOSE and B&O ones have an extra amplifier for the speakers, they have more speakers than the normal system and yes, the sound is clearer and stronger.

Hello, they are the original speakers for Audi a6 c7, you don't have to measure if you take OEM speakers! But you can measure the old ones to see what size they are, or you can search the internet for the model of the car and you will more than likely find the dimensions of the speakers! Audi A6 C7 has speakers of 20 cm on the front and 16.5 cm on the rear doors! I recently made an upgrade that brought a significant change in the sound on this car! New videos will follow! I also upgraded the subwoofer, I put 30cm in the original place of the car!

Hello, you can also install BOSE, but you need more things (not just the speaker, but the whole assembly on the door) The Bose one comes with an enclosure on the door and the whole system is quite expensive. For the problem with the crackling speakers, it is because they are of very poor quality. But I had the problem after 6 years, with the original speakers. Did you buy speakers new or bought from ebay? I bought from Audi, it was $50 a piece.

But if you don't have patience and skill, you better take it to a service to do it for you. It will probably cost around 50 euros to change the 2 speakers (left/right). @@janpetrovcic5652 I can't say that I'm really a professional because of the lack of daily activities. In the course of 10 years, I made only a few cars, and there were no different brands. (Only Ford Opel, Volkswagen, Audi) It depends on which workshop you show up with your car! At Service Audi, the costs are higher compared to a smaller service, so to speak. Both speakers must be replaced even if only the right side has problems or only the left. Because both were installed and used in the same way, the other one will fail in a short time. As for the prices, I say that when changing both speakers (55/60 Euro costs a speaker from what I've seen now on amazon) It is possible that at a workshop it will cost another 5 or 10 euros more. We charge 65 euros for a speaker, 130 euros for both and the installation, about 55 euros, would be a reasonable price. So a total of 185 euros! No stress, no hassle, no worries that you break something when you disassemble the door, or that things don't fit when you want to assemble it!

Hello, this is what happens with the original speakers after about 6/7 years. I recently did a major upgrade to the sound system on this car. @@kotkesha For cars equipped with Bose or B&O, I recommend the original speakers. They are more expensive but they do a good job! That's if you don't want to buy aftermarket speakers!
