S8 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Come back when XJ gets even close to that. My Lexus LS460 spanks XJ day and night. What about the fact that XJ has the most cramped back seat than any other car of its class? Oh boy, don't even get me started on XJ's reliability. If you're going to be biased you can at least make it seem like you're not. I can't stand dealerships like yours. You never see Lexus, Audi, BMW, or Mercedes dealerships make these type of videos because their cars speak for themselves.

Bruhh YeDigg Well at least I own a LS and you can't afford any of the cars you listed. And you're an idiot if you think that a person can't spend 5k extra on a full size luxury car. When you're talking over $70,000, 5k means absolutely nothing. Anyone that is looking at a $70,000+ car will have much more than $70,000 in their bank account and at that point 5k is not significant at all. Lol XJ pretty much comes standard with just about everything, Power trunk, panoramic roof and much more. You have to pay extra to get that stuff on LS, 7 Series, and S class if available. XJ is definitely the cheapest of the bunch here. "Lexus will never be in line with jag" Lol LS has been a very good competitor of big 3 german sedans and XJ never was until 2011 when they introduced the new one. Before that XJ was a total joke. XJ is the under dog here. XJ gives you the most for money yet by far sells the least. Lol I wonder why? Maybe because it'll break down on you at under 50k miles? Benz, BMW, and especially Lexus are very well built unlike XJ. Much of the technology in XJ and other full size sedans comes from Lexus. Lexus was the first to have self parking, 8 speed, and many more things. Now Jaguar and BMW do the same thing.

He has no need to rubbish the competition, there are many very high quality cars including Merc S Class, BMW 7, Audi 8 etc however non of them can compete with the sexiness and beauty of the XJ. I was about to buy an S Class then seriously the Lexus LS, my wife kept reminding me that I needed something that looks special. No contest I have no option but to choose the Jag XJ.

This is one of the worst videos I almost watched all of. You need to retitle your video, your obviously a Jag salesman and that's ok just don't act like your really comparing the cars with no bias. The catch is he is comparing the XJL (long wherlbase) to a regular audi a8 3.0t. (Short wheelbase) It's not fair. It should be the XJ vs A8, or XJL vs. A8L I have a 2011 A8 and 2013 XJ. My XJ has half the features this xjl portfolio has...

I am an Englishman and the jaguar do not impress me. That is why I own an A8. As for 4 wheel drive over rear wheel drive? Audi all day every day. I bought my first A8 in 2005 and I just bought the D4 with all the buttons to press and play with. No touch screen crap for me. Looks like I will be keeping it for a long, long time! 😊

It clearly was not to be expected that the A8 was going to win in this video, but then it couldnt win anyway. The XJ is to this day - October 2019 - the best car in its class. Yes, its a bit old and yes, there are many new features these days. But the XJs handling, quality, performance, economy, luxury are unmatched. But the praise that the computer in the XJ gets, is outright laughable - it is total garbage.

This review (so called professional driver) is like someone is narrating a birth of some Mammal in Anktartica. I have had driven 2016 A6 Quattro V6 diesel S - tronic. All I can say, that it is probably the best car for feeling safe, relaxed and very commanding. When placing a gear level in manual mode very few cars can compare to that Audi. It's absolutely savage. Very sporty, but nicely damped on 18 inch wheels. Jaguar is good, but not even close to Audi regarding of performance or quality. Just look at price depreciation, it says it all.

I drove an A6 for 7 years and was thinking of getting an A8. Took one for a test drive - just could not buy it - just so boring. And it rolls and sways in the corners. There was a XJ in the showroom so went for a test drive. The Jag is gorgeous inside. It has a lot more character- it drives so well- it purrs along the motorway- I ended up buying it. Had it a few weeks now- love the car, its pure class. The sat sav etc... took a bit of time to get used to. Also it is a big car though. And perhaps its just me but I think that there could be more padding in the seats. But its a car I look forward to getting into in the morning

I’m looking into buying either a 2014 Audi A6 with the 3.0 Supercharged or a 2014 Jaguar XJL 3.0 V6 Supercharged , both are nice but I think the Audi is more tuneable, I did find a ecu tune for the Jaguar that gives it 400 HP, however with an APR Stage 2 Plus Ultra ECU tune on the Audi A6 I can get 541 HP, still deciding between the two for now.
