I've got this exact headunit and all the products online say that a bluetooth adapter for the ami port will only work with usb power, but looks like this worked for you without usb power?

Hi, nice install video! Do you know if Spotify or other streaming apps works properly on this? Steering wheel controls, pause/next/fwd, does it show song/playlist info, etc. Thanks!

I’ve used Spotify with it and the song name will display but I haven’t had much success using the skip track and play/pause buttons

Hi followed your installation but when I connect the ami to the wiring loom my head unit just says “initalizing please wait” and never moves from that I recoded the head unit using the OBDeleven any help would be appreciated

Are you using a Bovee adapter? I’ve found that sometimes I need to disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth connection to get it to work

@@UBSTANKN yes I am I’ll give it a go thanks. It also says initalizing even when I unplug the the ami box for the connector in the glove box
