If connecting in the glove box it's a direct plugin. If connecting behind the radio you need to connect a ground wire.

Sorry I never saw this. From what I remember you need to program the radio for Lamborghini and then buy an interface. You're better off just swapping the radio for one with arplay.

I have a 2008 A4. I have a Bovee dongle plugged into my glove box iPod/phone for Bluetooth capability. Problem: I don't use the Sirius receiver so I removed it. After removing it I can no longer hear music via my Bovee, but can still hear the radio. The Bluetooth connection somehow relies on the satellite receiver staying in the loop, yet the style of receiver I have doesn't use one of those optical loops you'd normally patch the open connection with. Is there another style of patch, bridge cable, etc I could use for the missing satellite receiver? It's the style with one antenna cable, a 2x4 (4 wire), and a 1x4 (4 wire) connectors.

It’s not about loyalty. It’s about what’s best. For $400 I like Sony better. For $600 I like pioneer. But pioneers new radios have shallow faces so they will look off in some cars. If you want wireless CarPlay in this car I have to recommend Kenwood or Alpine. For a VW the new pioneer radios make more sense because they look better in the car even though the Sony for the same price has a better screen.

You can keep the CD changer built into the radio. But since this unit pretends to be a CD Changer the radio cant see this unit and a glove box CD changer at the same time.

You phone can connect to multiple Bluetooth device. You can use your factory BT for calls without any change. And Dension will be used for calls.

@@michalarbet9270 The factory Bluetooth would sound better than the dension so I do not recommend that. The mic is for cars that did not have factory bluetooth. Most cars of this generation did not have factory bluetooth for calls.

This is the exact same car and radio I have.. b7 rs4... had I known that I can get the Bluetooth module I wouldn't have purchased an aftermarket android screen which am currently struggling with sound.. the screen is connected but there's no sound.. so I purchased(still waiting for delivery) a FAKRA antenna adaptor with booster to connect to the AM/FM.. will it work?

Android radios are like gas station hot dogs. You never really know what your going to get. An antenna adapter may help with AM/FM reception but that has nothing to do with no sound.

The information below does not apply to any US Audi A4 2002-2009. This is for customers that have retrofitted a european radio. The item in this video is designed to replace the factory MDI in the Audi TT with tt RNS-E II. It shows information in the cluster on that car. I assume it will in your retrofit also.
