It must be awesome to be the owner of the cars in your videos, to see them on your channel, not only to see that the work has been done exactly as they have asked, but also to see the care you take with them, masking the wheel arch and calipers up to make sure no accidental slips with tools end up marking the paint or anything! Love to watch the way you work, if I had anything cool enough I'd likely be sending it your way lol

It's even more awesome being me and getting to drive all these cars 🤣 we've always taken loads of pics even before 'super ron' to show the customer the full process inside and out, to show how involved the jobs are and to give them a view of the car they wouldnt normally see 😁

Gracias por hacer este contenido , tengo un rs4 y hay poca información en la red de cómo hacerlo uno mismo

Very nice video, my heart went bang ! As I have a C4 polar silver and just got the RS4 in black with F1 seats .... I guess the inlet needs to come off for the walnut clean, just wander if it will do good to fit an oil catch tank. Thank for sharing. The Daytona RS4 with black trims looks amazing !

Thanks for watching 😁 I have seen some higher bhp rs4s run external oil catch tanks so it's an option.

Loved watching this video! Don’t suppose you can tell me the make or where to purchase the front splitter for the B8?
@SuperRon2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching 😁 it's a maxton design splitter

How many km did this car have? How is the oil consumption?
@SuperRon Жыл бұрын
I can't remember the mileage on this one, I dont think it was remarkably high.

034motorsport makes a cup for the intake ports

We have been looking at these to cut down on mess, a few places are doing them now 👍

Wouldn’t it be easier to dry ice blast the ports now that technology is available?
@SuperRon Жыл бұрын
Not sure if that would work for this application or not. But storage wouldn't be as easy, we've had the same sack of walnut for 2 years now.

@@SuperRon My understanding is dry ice is effective on particulate adsorbed to the surface. The oil is particulate laying on top of the surface of the components that make up the intake port and dry ice should be able to comprehensively and rapidly remove the adsorbed particulate while leaving much less debris to clean up.
@SuperRon Жыл бұрын
Possibly then, I think the big problem will be availability and storage if it's not a job you do every day

If it even works, seems cost and practicality would be prohibitive. Dry ice systems cost $10’s of thousands and take up a ton of space. Where as walnut blasting systems are hundreds or couple thousand. I think dry ice works better in the detailing world where you use the system more often and can recoup the cost much faster.
