Audi Q5 2.0 Cabin and Engine Air Filter Removal and Replacement (2011 - 2017)

This is a quick video on how to remove and replace both the engine and the cabin air filters on a 2015 Audi Q5 with the 2.0l engine.

Thanks for this! I have the 2018 q5 and I am trying to resolve a musty odor smell from the air conditioning. Is the front area that you showed the fresh air intake grill? Can/should I spray some sprt of cleaning product into that grill to get rid of the smell?

Awesome video! Would it be bad to replace the cabin air filter without replacing the engine filter or cleaning that vent? I don’t want to mess around under the hood if possible

You can replace either or at any time - one does not affect the other.

Yes, that one is washable and i hit with compressed air after washing.

This is NOT the 2009 Audi Q5 engine air filter. The correct one is cylindrical.
