Audi S4 (2005) - Misfiring

Sandy, love your videos !! I also have a 2005 S4 4.2 V8. Last year I took the car for its annual service and asked the garage to fit identical plugs to what I had fitted. When I got the car back it misfired terribly on all cylinders. I asked what plugs they had fitted, they said they had replaced with identical Bosch plugs. The garage had the car for a week trying to diagnose the misfire issue. Each time I went there and they said the misfire was cured, it wasn't. I asked them to pull a plug, they had fitted NGK. NGK run too hot. Once I discovered this and they then refitted Bosch plugs the misfire disappeared and has never returned. Needless to say I have never been back....

Second this. Had problems with the 4 prong NGK's - replaced with single iridiums and its sorted

my 2004 s4 sayin misfire on cylinders 1 and 3 and system running too lean(bank1) I replaced both spark plugs and coil packs and nothing any one kno anything? I don’t think nothing is wrong with the car mechanically it feels like a wiring issue or jus as simple as a sensor but no clue
