Audi S4 B8.5 Used Car Buying Tips

I got my 13 b8.5 s5 prestige for $19700 No sport diff, so everything else is there. B&O, Alcantara, etc. Needed shocks & tires which I did myself. Incredible deal. Wish the breaks didn't create so much dust, wish the mmi was faster w bluetooth pairing, wish the armrest was less prone to sliding forward, and that's it. Perfect daily.

Clay itself is an abrasive so it will leave scratches in the paint. If you actually want to inspect the paint use a 50/50 isopropyl alcohol water mixture instead. It will remove any wax or grease.

I used a clay bar and some spray to remove contaminats on my paint I didn’t get any scratches it actually felt smooth like glad after

Get silicone brake pads they are good quality I find they last longer

Northern s4 with that many miles for 23k.. I wouldn’t say you got a great deal.

Bruno in the north east it was the one of 3 below 70K at that price point. How would you describe that price? It’s a 2014 Prestige model.

At the Apex southern rust free s4’s with 30-50k miles go for 22-26k. Should’ve took a road trip!! Nice ride tho!

Bruno thanks! I considered a road trip, almost went to Massachusetts for one that was blue w. 30K for $26,500. That would have been 6 hours away.

You say buy one 2014 or newer, do you mean 2013 or newer? I thought they were especially the same

Yes 2013 had most of the changes and is a B8.5. 2013 drive select wasn’t standard feature.

@@thewallstreetreaper4859 because the one I want is 38k I work at Audi dealer lot tech and if I trade in my 09 a4 they give me 4k and I owe 6k on it but idk if I should do that and pay the 2k remanding or sell the car but idk I need a co-signer too whcub my pops says he would but he insist I sell the car 🙄 and the salesman said he would ask if I can get a good deal on the car since I wokr there
