Wait a minute... You are wrong about the external power only. The one attached to the TV has ALSO the option to power via your TV's USB input.

It sucks. It's close to $300.00 and can't go around corner & door to my adjacent room, which was less than 15 feet. It a fire hazard because it get hot. Item returned.

They need to Put out a product that you can hook up more that 1 receiver to the transmitter. I have 3 TV's I would like to hook up to a single transmitter.

Hi. This specific product will not work like that. It will display the same content on both TVs. However, there is good news. We have an upgraded unit that will do just what you want. I've been using this for about two years and it works great. Here is more info: www.iogear.com/product/GWHDMS52
