Cornell's death hurts me more than I could imagine. I wasn't listening to his solo albums and new Soundgarden much, but I love Audioslave. I always loved musical nonconformists: Dylan, Waits, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, The Clash, Joy Division and I I thought about Chris as one of the last musicians of that kind: always true, real and charismatic. Now I feel, like there's almost nobody left. He really was the last american hero to whom music meant freedom of the soul...

Chris was awsome in all those bands and in solo. Both bands were 2 of my favourites bands of alltime. They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else.
