You know and everyone else knows that you would only be interested in flexing your imaginary self-perceived authority in a situation that is none of your business and where you have no powers. Your service probably drills the idea of it being "Your service" into you, but that does not entitle you to become a quasi-Policeman for your service. Your ability to wear a uniform also makes you incorrectly believe that you have some power over the person your are targeting. To think otherwise is you simply attempting to subconsciously enforce your belief. You are not special. You have no powers above anyone else. What would you do if the person said "No" to your help? Hmmm? Everyone reading these comments, including the Plod that haunt these channels, know that you would just keep going asking more mundane questions which would continue to be ignored. As I said previously, this battle is with corrupt cops and criminal cops and their overreach of powers. Don't damage the reputation of your service by involving yourself in a battle that is none of your business.

I have heard about an ambulance getting stolen by someone fleeing from the police, some people will steal anything and not think about the consequences. If I remember right, the ambulance crew had stopped and gone to help someone in an emergency situation, the person fleeing from the police then jumped in and drove off in the ambulance. They then dumped the ambulance in the middle of a railway track and fled on foot, so I can see where the firemen are coming from about things getting stolen from them.
