The auditor definitely had the the right to record and the other man was angry because he did not know the law. But I have to say in all both parties messed up here. The auditor messed up by having pepper spray when he was not supposed to. The black male became aggressive for no reason other than he needs to be educated. I know that library. I used to go there when I was younger. I grew up in the next town over. I remember from before the new library was built. They had a different building near a shopping centre. The entire reason the US has turned into a police state is because of apathetic compliance with unlawful orders, directives and legislation. Rights are not something to petition government for permission to exercise. Yes, there are risks, many made sacrifices during prohibition before those unconstitutional laws were repealed, but they were repealed as a result of mass non-compliance. Freedom can definitely be scary and many would rather cowardly comply with tyranny and slavery and ask permission, rather than taking the risks of standing up and exercising their rights. It's really a personal choice. I personally choose freedom.

Because what I am hearing is “if I personally believe a law is unconstitutional I don’t have to obey it”. This may be an existential question but that’s not what the founding fathers meant by freedom.
