At the least that should be misuse of a system, at worst it could be a form of stalking by the officer, using a system to ID someone unlawfully. Her full video shows him looking up the information. No. The cop was not trespassing. The area was not posted, gated, or anything to indicate “NO TRESPASSING”. A trespass doesn’t occur until the property owner, or an agent of the property owner, tells the police officer(s) to leave and they don’t. Look up your state’s trespass law and then look up this state’s trespass law and understand them first. Setting foot on private property does not normally equal trespassing. Refusing to leave private property after being told to leave does. Don't just take someone's word for it, do the work and figure it out yourself.

Hitting them in the wallet (pensions) would change attitudes real fast, and other cops will be more willing to check their fellow officers who are messing up and hold them accountable. If you don't want their pensions messed with then eliminate qualified immunity and allow citizens to sue the cops personally. Those are the only two ways this stuff will stop.
