Skyscrapers, earthmovers, ground breakers. Our buildings rival the heavens. Our bridges span the seas. Ingenuity is so cunning. Innovation is not ours. Creativity is a luxury. We build with our hands what we have in our hearts. Fight the avalanche. You'll be buried every time. We run and run and run. Keep falling behind. Fight the avalanche. You'll be buried every time. We run and run and run. Always last in line. Before lines were lines, Before time was time, The Author wrote a story in the sky, and earth below. Little do we know we have only what we're given. Light up the sky. We're going where no man has ever gone. Little do we know we have only what we're given. Light up the sky. We're going where no man's forgotten. All You are is all we want. It burns inside us all. We're finding heart in giving soul. We're walking home into thin air singing... We are justice fighters with faces of fire. Many walk away, but we stand firm. We are justice fighters with faces of fire Our decisions affect our descendants. We are justice fighters with faces of fire. Skyscrapers, earthmovers, ground breakers. Our footsteps, bringing purpose, changing history. Skyscrapers, earthmovers, ground breakers. Our footsteps, bringing purpose, changing history

Think about it.. The level of skill these guys have and their hearts for playing are extremely high. And the lyrics. They aren't just singing "baby baby" over and over again. What they sing about has a message and a meaning. And in my opinion, that's what makes this music truly amazing. Plus they're just awesome.

ABR, talent wise, is unmatched by any metal band. I personally grew up listening to them, and to be honest they're the only "metalcore" band I can listen to and fully enjoy. Most other metal core bands have the classic girly cleans and really generic breakdowns and verses. That style fucking kills me, like most of the shit at warped tour. ABR and some melodic hardcore like the ghost inside are the only metal I can listen to. They really have a unmatched sound as far as other bands, I guess metal core was just a easy label to slide them in...

Everyone has their own tastes in music. I'm not emo, or a 13 year old girl. I'm a U.S. Army soldier who enjoys good rock music. I only recently fell in love with BVB when i first listened to them a few months ago. I also love ABR as well, mainly because i idolize Matt's drumming style. C'mon people, respect all rock listeners. You could very well be shitting on someone for liking a band that probably saved their life. It's already a rough world, people. Don't go making it worse.

This was off of by far their best album. Their latest just seemed to go back to what they used to play. Whereas this album had huge amounts of variation and some decent melodies. A lot of their older and latest album stuff is a bit too 'meta-riff' for me.

Lyrics: Skyscrapers, earth movers, ground breakers Our buildings rival the heavens Our bridges span the seas Ingenuity is so cunning Innovation is not ours Creativity is a luxury We build with our hands What we have in our hearts Fight the avalanche You'll be buried every time We run and run and run Keep falling behind Fight the avalanche You'll be buried every time We run and run and run Always last in line Before lines were lines Before time was time The author wrote a story In the sky and earth below Little do we know We have only what we're given Light up the sky, light up the sky We're going where no man Little do we know We have only what we're given Light up the sky We're going where no man's forgotten All you are is all we want It burns inside us all We're finding heart in giving soul We're walking home into thin air singing We are justice fighters with faces of fire Many walk away, but we stand firm We are justice fighters with faces of fire Our decisions affect our descendants We are justice fighters with faces of fire Skyscrapers, earth movers, ground breakers Our footsteps, bringing purpose, changing history Skyscrapers, earth movers, ground breakers Our footsteps, bringing purpose, changing history
