it truly bamboozles me that she stated that not only SA only happens to pretty people, but that being stalked, being in toxic rs, abusive/manipulative rs and friendships were also exclusive to conventionally attractive people. I was fat throughout highschool, not trying to brag here just giving details. I got laid alot, was a bit of a player even. Hated that about myself too. I was so sold on the culture of sex that I legit played into it and had regret over specific aspects of it. I was confident and smart, also thankfully at the cut off point for height so I didnt really struggle. I've dated women prettier than this girl, I've slept with women prettier than this girl. I've thrown women off of me prettier than this girl even lmao. Needless to say, the player nature and being a party boy and all, landed me in jail eventually because the party never stopped. When you live a life without purpose besides being self-absorbed, or going after good looking people, or worrying about what people think of you, etc. You tend to lose this thing called "purpose" and thats where you end up getting humbled as I did. I was a typical douchebag that just wanted to have fun and get laid because I felt unique at the time. I wasn't conventionally attractive, especially not in the body aspect and I was able to do things people said I'd never do and it did absolutely NOTHING for me lmao. If anything it damaged my life more than fulfilled it. Moral of the Story : Beauty & Attraction fade, but bad decisions last a lifetime. If you go throughout life worrying about image and being seen certain ways, you're likely gonna end up in a bad place, whether it be jail, homeless, on drugs, leeching off your parents, etc. Theres more to life than the random genetic pool we're born with, and this person will eventually be humbled like I was 😂

It can tbh. Firstly let me say; I AM NOT saying only certain types of people can be victims. What I am saying is if you're highly attracive, fit the creeps type or check the boxes of what they look for (ponytail, no rings, short, young, all alone, more revealing clothes which has been stated by real criminals is what they look for) you are at higher risk. This isn't me saying "ugly" or tall or anything like that can't be victims. It still happens just like with any statistic even if there's a low chance, there's still a chance. While with some creeps it can be about power I do think it's ignorant to say it's not about attraction when some creeps and r*psists have to be attracted to you to target you. For example I'm going to use my own life experiences: I'm ugly. I'm brown, with glasses, had braces at one point and awful bags with chubby cheeks with short hair. My ex best friend was blonde with beautiful long lashes bright blue eyes and a natural blush to boot. She has had so much more terrible things happen to her despite us knowing the exact same people. She has been stalked, sa'd multiple times and followed at night by randos. All done by mutuals. I've only been sa'd twice and forced into a couple relationships (but those were more desperation than attraction) This doesn't dismiss MY pain or experiences but it does show if you fit what they want, attractive etc you are more likely to be targeted or targeted more often. I have NOT said it's impossible or uncommon for "unattractive" or "fully clothed" people to be targeted or a victim just that the chance is gonna be lower. If you want to protect yourself more ( and as humans we will always he at risk but urs best to LOWER that risk) : wear fully covering DARK clothes so at night you're not easily spotted, wear bulky rings, wear your hair down, never be alone and it's better if you're walking with another man than a woman (its not uncommon for creeps to simply target both of you) or group, it's better if you're tall but if you're short you can try platforms @@justjo7282

Ended being so negative towards her friends too that it's hard for me to handle her as well. I tried to help of course but she carries her ways towards her family to me as well. Like if she's angry she'll never talk to you EVER until you try to fix it. I was able to fix it once cause we were classmate but the 2nd didn't do well cause we live so far and she doesn't respond to chats. I still wish the best for her, I just don't want to cling on someone who doesn't seem to care. Also a lot of people who's seen as ugly are likely to feel happy of what they have. At least I do, though I'm fine with my looks I'm probably seen as ugly based on beauty standards.

I was/am a heavier guy, and I remember in Middle-School/early high school in Chorus, this popular cheerleader would make an effort to sit behind me and grind her tennis shoe into the section of my back exposed by the chair and laugh, I even got angry one time and grabbed her foot and she seemed to think it was funny. She was also, incidentally, apparently giving fellatio on school grounds during the day at one point so I imagine she's probably pumped out the last of her welfare children by now. That was a little rambling, but your comment reminded me of her endless "compassion". She’s been influenced or raised this way, 5. She wants views, or 6. She’s doing all of those 5 things. Bethany has the mindset of a damn 6 year old with this “ugly people have no life” and “pretty people has everything together and is the perfect person” like no. A person can be the most ugliest person in existence and have a good job, take care of themselves, and be a good person. And a pretty person can be depressed, terrible life style, and be a trash human being. Your looks has nothing to do with your lifestyle. It’s not No look into their life because you remember that guy that TikTokers said was extremely attractive but he turned out to be a murderer? Yea, you wanna be friends with him? Didn’t think so.
@in_wino_veritas Жыл бұрын
Yes, a pretty person can wear worn out clothes, have bad hair, don't shower too often, etc or otherbadlifestylechoice., this can be due to depression, but also because of homelessness or other reasons (being parents to newborn twins, etc), but still be attractive. And they can have a good or a bad character. And on the other hand, fat or less attractive people can shower all day, get tons of sleep, wash their hair regularly, wear the newest clothes (OK, some of them have to) and take a lot of input on how they look. And can have a good or bad character. Not everyone who isn't concerned about how they look is fat, thin and attractive people can do have bad lifestyle choices as well, it's not just fat people. And the character is what counts the most anyway.

I think it’s quite funny how the irony of this young ladies completely contradictory statements is totally lost on her. In one instance she tries to say that all conventionally attractive people are just generally wholesome, nice, and positive people; yet in another instance she makes disparaging, judgmental, negative remarks and insults about an entire community of people whom she has never met or interacted with in person. Either she’s wrong about all attractive people being nice positive people, or she isn’t actually attractive. Take your pick Bethany
@calvinbostian800 Жыл бұрын
You can never base someone’s personality off their looks. If someone is ugly they could be the nicest person ever. Looks and personality are irrelevant but she’ll never get that through her thick skull. All we can do is pray for her and wish the best because there is no fixing this train wreck.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's appropriate to comment on her physical appearance in this case since that's the battlefield she's chosen to fight on. She obviously assesses people's appearances and judges them based on it, so I think it's fair to let her know that she is not particularly above average in looks. Not particularly below average either. But to notice people treating you differently and be like "Oh, it's because I'm so beautiful, isn't it?", it's just all the more painfully clear what a deluded, self-absorbed worldview that is when you're so clearly, precisely average in looks. If you really are clearly outstandingly beautiful and people treat you differently, it is reasonable to wonder if the two are connected. Even then you have to be very careful with that way of thinking. But when you're clearly average, that thought just becomes delusional. She herself has said that a lot of people call her average. Bethany, they are not saying that to humble you because you're beautiful. They're saying that to humble you because it's glaringly, painfully obvious that you are not humble. They are not collectively agreeing that you're average because they hate you, they are collectively agreeing that you're average because you're average. Just my opinion, I think if they really just hated you for your beauty, they would call you ugly. Them calling you "mid" rather than ugly could possibly be a sign that they're aimed at telling you the truth rather than just tearing you down as much as possible. And, just throwing this out there, don't know if it's true, but it's possible people are being overly fake-nice to you because they pity you. They see your lack of social awareness and, not yet realizing the deeper underlying issues, think you just need a friend. I can be a bit of a bumbling, awkward, shy person sometimes, and at times I'm pretty sure that has attracted a fair amount of over-niceness. And I don't resent it, far from it, I just think it can be misguided sometimes.
