That gel was my holy grail back when I had short hair it gave me so much hang time and I got shine, definition. It pairs great with their green leave in conditioner or the sheamoisture low porosity leave in detangler. Also love that is gave me strong hold. And the smell is Devine! It's very refreshing!! I love that gel as well. When wet it definitely shows elongation but when dry it shrinks right on up but i love the shine and definition it give my hair

Yep tried this product a few years ago. I found out last year that hair types goes beyond 4C. There was another guy who has 4D hair. I believe my hair type has the 4D texture so I went and researched and found hair types goes beyond 4C. It goes from 4D-5C. 5C having a 'Z' curl pattern. Anyway, it's good seeing guys doing hair videos. Hating cuz your hair looks waaay better than mine. Plus my hair shrinks so bad this gel didn't work for me.

I’ve used this as a single product also and it gave me gorgeous fluffy curls. When i used it with a leave in my shrinkage was crazy lol, but still one of my favs. It’s lighter so I can’t stretch my wash and gos as long but it leaves my hair so soft n

From the same flaxseed recipes line, the curl mane-tenance curl defining whip goes so well with my 4C hair. It has mango butter in it and that led me to the discovery that mango butter is my jam. If you want me to buy something... put mango butter in it. 😩 And so far it’s been true. All products I try with mango butter makes my hair so juicy and defined. Thanks Aunt Jackie ☺️💖

I hope their line gets better, because their curl cream (the curl la la) is the only product ever that flaked on its own on me. I don't know how that happened, but... it did! Also their Quench! leave-in cream + gel leaves tiny white pinpricks of residue. No bueno! Because of that, I have stopped buying their products. They are affordable, but if that's the way it is, not for me!

@Saraai Baker, I don't think it's because it's "too cheap" (sounds a little snobbish to me), I just think it's because they don't think of possible flaking issues in the hair, and that can be worked on! I am a cheapie where my products are concerned and a lot of my other "cheap" products don't do that to me *at all* - just sayin'. And I don't think Aunt Jackie is "cheap" at all, more mid-range. I tend to buy shampoo/conditioner for 2/3 euro max. but I do tend to spend a little more on my stylers (Shea Moisture, Eden Bodyworks, Cantu). See, take Cantu, that never flaked on me, and it's "cheap" as well! ;)
