The version in the movie is the original. Aurora only covered it, but she makes all the covers she does her own. Often better than the original in my opinion.

Queen of the covers. I like the original with Idina and Aurora doing the Siren calls. But, Aurora, as always, takes a song and makes you think she wrote the song herself. Amazing woman. My all time fav artist.

Every song Aurora performs she makes her own. You will notice this especially well when she covers the likes of Ariana Grande, Imagine dragons, Massive Attack and David Bowie. I prefer her own songs though, such as: "I went too far", "Forgotten love", "Churchyard", " Apple tree", "Awakening" and "Running with the wolves." She's got several great concerts but my favourites are KEXP 2018 and the Haik- concerts (one held in an actual forest). To understand her a bit better you might watch her 11 minute long documentary on youtube called "Nothing is eternal."

AURORAs version is so crisp so clear, so "FROZEN" so fitting for the theme. For me, being an Arctian (from Arctic Norway) it is perfect for the winter theme. AURORAs clear voice mesmerising and powerful. It is like the snow playing in the wind over fairytale landscapes. Bringing promise of much power. It doesn't have to be voluptious and full of riffs and runs to be powerful. I only wish this would've been the version ending the film.

The Disney version is perfect for the movie and Aurora's voice as the secret siren bring well the magical part in it, Nice for children and grown children. Aurora's version of this song speaks to me, I think most of us if not all, have that kind of siren call, to me it happened few times, even if my life is good I suddenly need something else, a change (the siren call), even if I don't know why. Of course it is always a not easy decision, why quit something good for something uncertain? I jumped few times into the unknown ;o) As you said, it is an another song, each song of Aurora, covers or originals, speaks to the soul and the heart, she is a real Fairy. Aurora has several covers of known songs, and they have all been changed to the extent that you can call them a different song without changing it so it's not recognizable. If you dare to dive into the Aurora Universe, you can start at the beginning with Runaway or if you prefer her newest song - Exist for Love. She hardly have any songs that won't set your emotions in play and the lyrics are deep and can mean different things depending on the person. You will get more out of her music if you watch a live version of her songs, she puts so much emotion and soul into it on stage, may it be a big or small stage. Recordings on NRK, P3 Live, KEXP, Like a version and VEVO all have amazing live performances of her songs. Enjoy ! Edit: I forgot about the Haik concert...amazing.

It's a cover, not her own song. But since she was in the original, she wanted to do her own version after the oscars. She's actually great at covers. She improved on Ariana Grandes God is a woman and even holds her own in David Bowies Life on Mars, which is saying something. But even better are her own songs. Btw, I am sure JP would want you to attribute the archetype idea to Jung and not to to him :)

I hope you react more to AURORA, she is to good an artist not to. This just gave you a small taste of her abilities. Abilities, her voice, the instrumentals, making it totaly her own. This is so easy one is sung by a performer the other by an artist called aurora who knows what the art of music is about,and it won't matter what you hear from her,covers,videos,originals or live performances they are the same she is from a different planet if you love the art of music aurora will go to the top of your playlists,as a songwriter she will make you touch emotions you never thought you had and think deeply about every aspect of life I have never heard such genuine lyrics that comes from the heart of someone so young and to think she has been writing some of these songs from the age of 9.and then when you add the voice wow! Nope she didn't write the song. But she plays with songs. She even changes her own songs. But in the animation "Elsa" is not just singing, the singing is part of the story we are watching. Aurora's version of Into The Unknown is a song on its own. It has nothing to do with Frozen or Elsa.
