The best version or "Runaway" to start with is the "2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert" version, recorded when she was 19 years old, (she's 25 now) or you could also watch the official video for "Runaway", but her live performances are always better. The best version of "Lucky" is the "Live in Nidarosdomen" concert from 2017, as well as many other songs from that concert. Congratulations! You are about to embark on a grand discovery tour of the 25 y.o. enchantress with the pixie voice, ms Aurora Aksnes. Because of her humorous wit and her seemed inability to sit still during interviews in part, is what makes her so completely entertaining. There's nothing like her live concerts that showcase her worth as a prolific performer. This woman is uniquely special. I am totally glad that you're finding Aurora at this stage of your young life because imo Aurora creates seeds for profound critical thinking. As in her song The Seed. I've often wondered if and when you and Aurora would meet. And here we are. YIPPIE!!

In full disclosure, as you know, I am mostly a Grace fan. But, as you may not know, I also have listened to Aurora and in my opinion she is outstanding! The great Angelina is not the only star from Norway. Aurora too has a beautiful and uniquely hauntingly soft voice. I think she is very funny and has a quirky personality which is very endearing and sometimes even a little strange, as you will see once you delve deeper into her life. I'm glad you like her. She is a true artist and hasn't gotten the recognition she deserves.

Hello! Old metalhead here. i definitly going to follow you through this journey. I know you are going to love it. You nailed her persona great. She is always nice and kind but her answers in her interviews could be very suprising all other than meh. This version of Into..... Is so good with her sooth and mesmerizing voice for me it is better than the original....But that is my taste of course. If you should do Lucky. Look att Lucky in Nidarosdomen that´s my favourite perfromance ever. It´s atmospheric, haunted but otherworthly beautiful. Se ya in your next reaction.

Aurora has a real knack for covering other people's music and making it all her own. So much more than a copy, but still faithful to the original idea, so it's not a caricature or a distortion. Seeing how she does that with the music of others makes me understand why her own songs are so special.

You should only watch her live performances. They are much better. "murder song 5,4,3,2,1" live Nobel Peace Prize Concert must see. She is not only a great singer, but also a wonderful and absolutely natural, lovable, funny person. She doesn't care about expensive things. More down to earth than she does not go in this business.
