Ah, thank you Ashlena 😄❤I empathize so much with this song. Feeling like you don't belong. I can't fathom why she hasn't released it though. Its so good. Yes, you pronounce my name just fine btw 😄 (maybe a bit less emphasis on the "a", but who cares. I'm kinda impressed at how well you pronounce the "ø", which is something people from other countries often struggle with) Thank you!

It always saddens me to think of the circumstances that made her create such a reflection--I don't belong here-I don't belong anywhere. The pain in her eyes is just heartbreaking.

I remember when I first heard this song.....something about it felt very familiar. And I only just now figured it out! The intro of "Animal Soul" reminds me a LOT of the Bush song "Letting the Cables Sleep." Not saying she copied it...first, chord progressions aren't remotely exclusive, and second, I quite doubt she's ever heard the Bush song, it's not super well known or anything. But if anyone is curious....check it out. It's a very pretty haunting song in it's own right, and I'm sure you'll notice the similarity right away. :)

I have been avoiding this song because it makes me fall in pieces. I can believe the part where she sings about being wrapped in, as if she remembers that. Love it. Thanks.

This for me is lyrically one of my favourite songs that she has written,the first verse is just at another level,how do you even start to comprehend what it was like to be in your mother’s womb and writing about it is just a stroke of Genius and for me sums up why Aurora is head and shoulders above anyone else, I would have to say that the first verse is one of the greatest and most beautiful verses I’ve ever heard,every time I listen to it and hear her delivering it I’m right there with her truly believing this moment in time when she felt the warmth and seeing the light for the first time,Aurora you are a Genius ❤️

I love this one, but I can see why she never put it on a record. She does like to leave some hope, even in her sadder songs, but this one... I know many likes other versions better, but personally I prefer this one, so thanks! 😊Another beautiful but sad performance is the Mahogany Session version of "Little Boy In The Grass", with just Aurora and Odd Martin in a dinghy.

Magnifique. She has so many gems. So many beautiful songs, with so many and different live performances, that I could listen to her all the day without it to be repetitive or boring at all. Great suggestion, nice reaction. Thanks a lot for it, then.🙂👍

This is probably in my top 5 Aurora songs. My favorite version of this song is the Verftet performance. She doesn't have back up vocalists. It's just Aurora performing her heart out and playing the piano. It's more dramatic, and intimate. I'll listen to any version of this song, though. I just love it.

Hi Ashlena 😀, another great song by Aurora, which I heard for the first time now. Thank you. I know that I have some unreleased songs from various reasons . I heard some. All of them were excellent. Especially one, I won't tell you its name, but I will hope that you will react to it, I don't know a sadder and at the same time beautiful song😭. I really don't know how she does it, just look at her singing and everything is gone, it's just her singing and her. The words of this song are so relentlessly true for many people, including me .

Right, her facial expressions are everything, she is such an exceptional storyteller and that is part of the reason. Aurora is a package of so many different facets that make her a fascinating unique artist. So, you said on Nothing is Eternal, should you release your music, yes, you should, sounds like something you want to do, go for it, no regrets. Thanks, a hundred times, thanks

You should react to “why did you have to go” just like this song it’s one of aurora unreleased song, you can find it on KZbin. Note: you should do a bit of research about the song it will enhance your experience of the song (It’s very very sad).

This song should come with a disclaimer. It's the saddest song Aurora has ever written, and it will bring tears. But it's so, so good.

Children can be such horrible creatures. They can make life hell for anyone they see as "different". This song has to be very personal, thank goodness she is now seen as super special. Her self confidence on stage has visibly grown. A very special woman. This song needs release.

Something magical from Aurora ... Okay, so everything from Aurora is magical but how about a song done as a title theme for a Brazillian soap opera? A traditional English ballad, made famous by Simon and Garfunkel, sung beautifully with a magical, middle ages styled video:- AURORA - Scarborough Fair : kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnanpJJphat8g68

This song is one her most poignant and sad songs that really connects with the way many of us feel about not fitting in this world. In the HAIK documentary she talks about this feeling a little bit and I feel this song must be very personal to her. By the way, I noticed that the screen shot of your poll from the Awakening” reaction listed this as the Verftet version, which I think is the better one (this P3 version is lovely but doesn’t have the same emotional impact). You should try to watch that other version as well!
@hakanandersson127610 ай бұрын
I agree. Verftet is more fit. Her singing is similar and great but i don't like this venue it's way to bright and distract.
