I love her movements and how it always seems like the energy in her body is almost too big to be contained in her tiny body so her arms and legs just sort of flail around her body. Super good reaction video! I always look forward to your Aurora vids.

Very cool performance full of energy. She has longer period when she does not want to perform this one and does not liked it. Probably it was symbol of her independence. This song was made together with the rest of the team and the message of this song is simpler then rest of her songs in this period + it was usually ending song in a concerts. I am guessing she felt pushed too much to perform this song :). Anyway I always liked the song :). Part from the wiki: "Aurora wrote the song in 2013. She wrote solely the verses, while the chorus was written with her band members and manager, though Aurora is unsure if the latter actually collaborated with songwriting. She said: "This song is a rather strange one. It's an important contrast to all the other songs on my album - it's actually a bit happy! I wrote it with some of my band members during 2013 once. It was just for fun, we didn't even know if anything good would come out it!" "Conqueror is about a world is kind of falling apart around you, and you're looking for a conqueror to save you. But you're looking for the conqueror in someone else, which I think is you should not do. You should find the conqueror in yourself first, and be your own hero. If you stand strong, then you will stand for a bit longer."

I adore that one! Funny thing is, she had, in the past, not wanted to sing it anymore, or at least not often...because it was so often requested, and she had other music she wanted to do. Of course now, she has so much music, who knows when she can fit it in again. But there sure is something so fun and happy about it!

Imo this is the best performance of this song👍 “Conqueror” came to represent everything that was bad with the music industry to Aurora, and she has stated that it was the least “Aurora song” on the album. She said in an interview I can’t find right now that she couldn’t really relate to the lyrics of it. It must have been difficult for her to continue to promote a song she wasn’t really that connected to. If you watch the documentary “Once Aurora” you’ll understand. She also said in an interview a few years ago that she didn’t hate the song anymore👍😊

You are right.... she actually told a local newspaper she hated it, and she has not done it after the promo tour was done (as far as I know). She has said (in 2022) that she has started to like it again.... so she might do it again....

Aurora is an emotional being. She wants her music to convey emotions. It was very important to her. She liked to have fun too. But the music was supposed to convey complex emotions. That was her intention. Everyone wanted her to do this song which was essentially simple and fun. She felt that was stifling her as an artist. Therefore, she began to dislike it. She didn't even feel it belonged on the album. It became the business element. Unfortunately, that is also an important element in a music career. As you say, it was probably right at the time for her team to push it. Today she no longer needs it. Then maybe now she may feel it's okay to perform it again.
