Thanks, Saeed, wonderful reaction! 👍🤟 She said she was going through a rough patch where she was only seeing the bad in the world, and she wrote this song to get it out of her system. It's a very important song for her. She recently did a performance where she changed up some of the lyrics for the children of Gaza, and it was pretty heartbreaking, though beautiful as always.

Thanks for the support and introducing me to this song. It seems many of us who share similar struggles and darkness gravitate towards one another, like with these artists. We find comfort in sharing and expressing views, hardships and also give different perspectives sometimes. That can help us heal. Or like seeing it through a child's eyes. ''Running with the Wolf'' could be an other good one the MV is interesting, even if she is always better in live perfo all of her MV have meaning as well. Aurora is best live, BUT her mv.s "Queendom", "The Seed", "Running with the wolfes", "The River" and "Appeltree" are must sees. She is currently 27, but has been composing music since the age of six and writing lyrics in english (she is norweigen) since the age of nine. Her catalouge is HUGE, and you cant realy go wrong.😊

Her live performances are, well, they are performance art. This song is truly beautiful, but I don't call this one of my favorites, it is hard to choose a favorite song from Aurora, they are all so gosh darn awesome. I have many songs battling for the upper echelon tier of my favorites, right now, Conflict of the Mind is in first place with so many others side by side in second. I know this song is most fans favorite and I absolutely love this song, so what does that tell, that tells you that she has a boat load of great songs.

Aurora is really healing through music. And there is tons of material to enjoy. Sad, deep, uplifting, environmental, liberating - she is a force of nature and you'll love it. The way she allows those notes to fade into silence.. sublime. If you enjoyed this song, look for the "Vevo UK LIFT" version. She was quite a bit younger and it's sung acapella. I've heard it so many times and it never fails to give be goosebumps.

I'm not exactly a 'people person'🙃) Very excited to accompany you on your Aurora journey. I saw your reaction to 'It Happened Quiet' and had a nice ole cry, during and after, heh. 🙃 I too was IMMEDIATELY struck to the bone with those first few lines when I initially heard it, and it still wrecckkks me, beautifully, to listen to. What a lovely gift it is that I got to enjoy it with you, too! I inadvertently developed a little Aurora mantra because of this (It Happened Quiet) song, actually, as I discovered her at a rather low point in my life! -- Whenever I found myself grappling with those dark thoughts and memories and dreams of past violence/trauma in my life, instead of blaming myself, self-flagellating and all that good stuff, I would play the song over n over, and holler the, 'Don't you speak over my voice' part at the tippy-top of my lungs, situation permitting 🙃 Then it just.. sorta took on a life of its own inside my brainses; it morphed into a sort of mantra my mind would repeat, even without the song playing(thanks, autism/echolalia! 😁), and now it'sjust sort of reflexive that when I'm reminded of trauma, or even just if someone speaks down to me or makes me feel small, whatever, those words just appear in my brain and I rub 'em like a worry stone. It makes me feel strong, I dunno. 🤷‍♀️ For whatever reason, that just clicked for me. My discovery of her was serendipitous like that.. I discovered her when I reeeeeally needed to! (covering my all-time favorite song, no less!.. btw it's life on mars by bowie, sorry I didn't wanna confuse you and make you think this one was a cover🤗) ANYWAY I certainly did NOT intend to ramble on this much, apologies !! And I now realize that perhaps I should post this to your first reaction, but.. um... I'm not gonna 🤷‍♀️ Excited for you to hear more Aurora!! Never get tired of this one. Important song for Aurora, and she clearly wants to keep that side alive. Watched her live yesterday (and seeing her again tomorrow), and she performed a really nice version of this one.
