kimdaviscaliAs for your comment, ......all you did is prove to everyone here, how imature you are. And regarding the Windnoise for a portion of the video, yes, it was very annoying but it was the only material i had at the time to make people realise that even very experienced operators could benefit from my training sessions, should they choose to contact me.Have a great day!

The adjustments I made where edited out in most of my videos deliberately,. Please understand that I can not disclose that information publicly, as I generate a portion of my income from training people on the GPZ7000. The 7000 is more or less fool proof and will find gold, however...the reason many prospectors regardless of the level of experience come and seek my help with this detector is simply because I use this machine to make a living finding gold, Since its release, I spend nearly 2000 hours in the field testing this detector, the knowledge gained from this very tedious task allows me to now, maximize its full potential. Like yourself, most people do not fully understand, and are very unsure and therefore you are not confident in the use of the 7000 and most people feel (or know) that they are leaving gold behind. Unfortunately Minelab dealers offers only basic training, and that is why I, as a professional prospector decided to offer comprehensive 1 on 1 training.

Hi Peter, thanks but I dare say that you probably don’t miss that much gold given the amount of hours you put on that beast so far. Granted, we always leave some gold behind and we continue to learn as we gain more and more experience and “ perhaps “ there is a “small chance” I might be able to help you to get a bit more gold out of the ground- who knows right 🤷♂️ It would be nice to catch up someday and compare or exchange some thoughts. Just some thoughts of mine... sometimes it is just the ability of the individual to hear this ever so slight signal response amongst all the other feedback you get depending on how you setup your machine, that determines if you find a nice bit or not. As you all probably know, listening skills is not something anyone can teach and everyone’s hearing is different of corse. So every day, the ground, the gold itself, it’s orientation and composition, the angle of approach, plus the size and depth of the nugget etc etc plus the operators frame of mind all will influence our success. Every time you go out even to the same place things are always a bit different and often it just comes down to getting either everything just right or getting plain lucky to unearth what was missed by either myself and everyone else before. That’s just how it is. So for everyone that thinks you can get it all 🤷♂️ nope of corse you don’t, but a bit of knowledge and experience can certainly give you the edge. So for what it’s worth.... Personally I don’t worry if I am missing a few bits here and there- everyone does! To me it makes it all the more interesting the next time when I go back and find a nice piece where I was sure that I had a good look and then I ask myself ...... wtf?. 🥴 how could I have possibly missed that ? It’s what drives me to experiment a bit more each and every time I head out once I “ hear” what I think might be a faint target. That’s how you gain the experience that can help you finding more gold. It’s detecting for you- the daily challenges and hopefully the joy of finding gold in the first place and all the while focusing on learning new things. So i guess the moral of the story is this. No one knows everything or is an “expert” when it comes-to detecting, (though some definitely “think” they are 🥴🤷♂️) So if one is willing to take a leap of faith and don’t ignore but instead pay attention and listen to what those of us who put in the work and hours in the field, might have to say- and then combine that possible new found knowledge with your own experienced, well then you really can’t loose right 🤷♂️ It’s not so much about “ HOW MUCH” gold someone has found in their life or in the past where gold was plentiful that makes them worthy to pay some attention to, but more so I think, pay close attention to those who CAN consistently still find gold today! Be patient, learn a bit more every time you go out, be and stay safe! Dig Deep! Cheers Jim 🤠

Good video but what were the adjustments you made and why?

I want to apologise to ALL the people that commented on any of my Video's in the last few month or even longer ago. Firstly I didn't realise that some comments where automatically withheld by youtube for my approval 🥴. Secondly I was not able to post anything for sometime as I had unfortunately a pretty bad shoulder and neck injury 😤 but don't worry, I am on the mend now😃. So for what it's worth, I am really sorry for not replying and perhaps letting you guy's think that I don't value you or your comments. I did NOT ignore you!! I alway's aim to make the effort and if at all possible, too reply to you all of you if you have a question or whatever. I am not currently in Australia and won't be back there for a while. In the meantime I am learning more now about KZbin etc and as I write this please note, that there will be some changes to my channel and it's contents in the upcoming few month- so stay tuned 👍 Until then, I hope everyone is well and do stay out of trouble 😉. As alway's... Be safe and Dig Deep Cheers Jim 🤠

Hello plze can u tell me the maximum depth of the detector
@AussieAdventurer4 жыл бұрын
That’s not an easy question to answer as the “potential maximum depth” is essentially determined by the target size, target orientation, soil and environmental conditions and coil size. In totally benign soils given perfect environmental conditions and with a big coil 🤔 perhaps as deep as 6 feet. Reality is, that when trying to find gold the soil conditions are most often everything BUT benign and at best guess 3-4 feet is, if your very lucky, the best you could generally “hope” for with a decent multi ounce nugget as a target and with a big coil. For what it’s worth..... Most gold I recover during normal detecting is on average around 1-2 feet deep....

Bryan Jones, Ok, let's see...🤔 Is there any chance that you considered the fact, that Minelab simply has the best gold detectors out there, for what I do? Well I'd say probably NOT-right? You see, for me personally, the goal is to maximise my chances of finding gold nuggets when I am out in the field and in the past decade or so, I was making a living from finding gold. And having said that, would it be fair to assume, that I have spend thousands of hours in the gold fields with what I personally consider, to be the best gold detecting equipment out there? The videos I made are simply there to tell people- Hey, I can help YOU- I have some knowledge and experience I want to share, so I can help you other prospectors to get a much better understanding on how to use the GPX or GPZ more effectively in the field. And in all honesty, thats about it, however I don't give my knowledge away for free!! But since you obviously do NOT know me or know what I actually do, I guess you could be forgiven for thinking that this is some sort of advertisement for Minelab and hence, there detectors- well guess what mate, I am sorry to disappoint you but you are so WRONG! All I strive for with my videos, is to let people know that here is someone who CAN AND WILL actually help other prospectors to better understand how to utilise and maximise the GPZ 7000 for instance. My time and training is very valuable and as such is available for a price -of corse. Knowledge in this field is a very very valuable commodity, especially given that few professionals will part with it. Because they know, everyone who is looking for gold is their competition- so why should they give away or part with hard earned trade related tips and tricks etc. I am however different as I am willing to part with my knowledge. I do this to provide myself with an additional income and I am, at the same time, helping those that are uncertain, unsuccessful or simply helping those people that are short on time and don't want to waste their time running around blind and merly HOPING to find GOLD. Fact is, that very few can spend years in the field figuring things out the way I did. If anyone decides to come and see me, I guarantee they will become better operators and hence they WILL find much more GOLD. I helped many prospectors from all skill levels and naturally I will be training these people with the best tool for the job: The "Minelab GPZ 7000". So for everyone out there reading this=That is the purpose and why I created these video's. There is no BS during my training sessions, I pass on ALL of my field experience and knowledge for this equipment. I do it in the best, most effective and concise way I can. Below you see a link with proof to the effectiveness of my training and where you can witness first hand of some of my Students gold finds- but all that success has also a price= By learning you gain knowledge the trick is, applying what you learned correctly and be prepared to do a sh***t load of walking and expect hard work! facebook.com/jim.naeger.1/media_set?set=a.1787137761538035&type=3 PS: AND let me make this very clear here to everyone, I am in no way affiliated, sponsored or payed for by "Minelab" in any way whatsoever! Regards Jim

Only problem I have with these videos is that you can hear the detector, loud, or music, but when talking, you got to crank the volume right up to try an hear what is being said.

Hi Michael Yes a bit unfortunate with the wind noise ,but I hope that the message was clear enough. Thanks for your feedback.
