I'd say the reality is that you're legally entitled to film anywhere outside the building, which includes inside the bollards and obviously that means you're allowed to be filming through the windows. To me that is obvious because media organisations do that all the time. Other than the usual laws around personal conduct and behaviour, I'd say it's only obstructing the entrance that you're not legally entitled to be doing.

The courthouse issue was interesting. Its not like you can go on about rughts because we dont have rights like they have in the USA. We actually need a legal reason just to speak apoarantly. For ne this is about politics and a referendum to which natually can lead along to the discussion of rights or a bill of rights if we compare it to our Pacific team mate the USA. Low and behold the Queen died and our promised referendum wasnt tendered by the Prime Minister and we are already at the next election. Though we are certainly living in a far different era of security so I dont imagine if a head of state change would lead to a bill of rights that resembles the rights expressed in similar American footage that you are emulating. The other thing is the boundaries in the court. You have to respect that. However im preety sure you previously cant record inside a courtroom. Even when camcorders came along nobody ever carried them around doing vlogs. Now that it is an issue they ought to put up blinds on the big windows so people cant see in. You can zoom in easilly from the boundary they outlined.
