IF John never sings again, it makes me sad..... not for me or his fans, but for HIM. He so obviously enjoys singing, you can't fake the pleasure on his face, the way he closes his eyes.... singing for John is like breathing for you and I. I wish John nothing but good health and happiness, and hopefully he can manage a tune again, only for himself :) Love you JF, you have given us fans quality music for so long, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤❤

This is in my opinion the best version of this song, by anyone. Even here with John a bit older his voice is still pristine. With all the belting he’s done throughout his career he never blew his voice out unlike so many great singers. He is definitely the greatest male vocalist of all time. And Brett Garsed on guitar is epic.

John Farnham is doing well , out-of-hospital weeks finished the first part of his rehab slot earlier than expected , he's now in his 70,s and even if you didn't sing again he's left a legacy with all the other songs he has sung , that will live on forever . I've heard worldwide singers who are renowned singers who can't even touch this man's voice . John is revered over here in Australia and loved by all , great man ,humble a bit of joker at times but how do you interrupt GREATNESS , and this is what we are talking about when it comes to John Farnham's voice. 💕

In an interview John commented that he thoroughly enjoyed long periods of singing in the shower very much, experimenting with his voice. He recorded 'The Acoustic Chapel Sessions' Live album. John watched the 2022 Australian Football League Finals pre game concert in Melbourne from his hospital bed. Robbie Williams was the main guest singer and payed tribute to John by singing 'Your The Voice' with John on the big screen and with the footy fans. Apparently it took John to tears. Keep getting well, John. We love you.

Thanks for making me watch this video again; really, I do appreciate that. I am very familiar with John Chisel singing this song, and this particular performance as well. So much so that I will often not click on the link when it comes up in my KZbin feed. That's the problem sometimes when you are so spoiled and so fortunate to have enjoyed John Farnham for so long, that you forget just how truly special his talent is. Sadly, sometimes I am no longer surprised by the enormity of John's voice, it's just ordinary for him. It's what we expect from him. Kind of: "yeah, yeah, we know ... John bloody Farnham monstering another song". And then, someone or something makes you click on the link and watch the song again and you become transfixed and mesmerized, and when the song ends you realize you are sitting there with tears in the corners of your eyes, wondering why the song isn't on high rotation on your play list. Thank you for giving me that moment again.

Not sure I've ever witnessed a male vocalist in popular music have such a range and be able to hit it with so much force. His voice doesn't have the density of say Tom Jones or richness of Elvis. I totally agree he’s done enough and we have a lot he’s left us to enjoy. You should listen to him with his backing singers Lindsay Field and Venetta Fields do Amazing Grace. Also I think you would enjoy Burn For You. I always appreciate your reactions for John.

Loved the song. Especially the fact it is all about the music. Every piece added was a compliment to the song. The vocals the harmonies and the guitar riff were all there to compliment the song. The vocals were powerful and were delivered to compliment and support the whole. Very well done.

Another brilliant Farnham performance, he really emotes the whole thing. And he’s still in Hospital at the moment so here’s hoping he might be watching this on a iPad or phone seeing how much people enjoy , relish & love his singing. I say chaps , any chance of ‘Tina Arena’ singing Chains .. could someone ask Cris ?

Thank you for this. Really enjoy your reactions. Farnham sings this song so well. I remember seeing him play in pubs around Melbourne in the 70s, everyone thought he was a has-been then. Wow, we were so wrong. All the best for your recovery John.

The greatest of all time,I always go through the same motions listening to John, goosebumps as he starts and as the song bills you’re overcome, because you know what’s coming. He makes you forget any problems and you get lost in the feeling only John can send through his music,Please boys give us a Farnham week god knows we can use it.

To answer your question about if John's done an acoustic album... he sure has, back in 2011, and just like John, it's phenonemal... I've been watching you guys video after video for your reaction to the master legendary icon that is John Farnham... been amazing to watch you and hear what you have to say... and pretty much everyone is spot on with saying 'Help' with the MSO is the best intro to John, aside from "you're the voice", Help is 100% the quintessential introduction to John... and I always enjoy watching those reaction videos the most with that song and John's version, and your reactions were spot on... anyway, so glad that you guys discovered and experienced John Farnham... it just doesn't get any better than that man... anyway here's one of the many links (this is wikipedia's) that you can find out about that acoustic album... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Acoustic_Chapel_Sessions
