I can't begin to describe how much I and many others appreciate that you race that wonderful car. You and all the other at Goodwood. Thank you so much! My heart skipped a beat when you almost touched. And nothing you can say will convince me that you disconnected your speedometer. It just plain doesn't work.

Thank you! I am pleased to be able to race them and bring you this footage. Speedo cable removed, not needed. The angle drive on the gearbox would probably break anyway.

Incredibly good driving; aggressive and smooth (yes, the wheel does move quite a lot, but it did too with Win Percy driving the D-type; that seems to be how these cars work).

Thank you. Welcome to cross ply tyres, they need to be drifted through the corners as if you relied on their grip, you wouldn't be relying on much!!

Do any of the gauges work at all?? I saw a red light glow from time to time as well... guessing ignition light and not oil pressure. GREAT DRIVING!!

The important gauges work. I have oil pressure, water temp on my left hand which i keep a close eye on. You cannot see but i have a rev counter on the right of the dashboard next to the speed which doesn't work and the red light is a shift light, indicating 6,000rpm so it catches my eye. The wind noise is so high it is actually hard to hear the engine note. The low oil pressure light is the big orange light and the most important one! If I was to see this, the engine would be switched off immediately.

Well if the Jaguar and the Aston (DB3S) were genuine - there's few £million there - which makes the Healey the one to 'chuck around'. Nicely driven though.

the DB3S is THE Stirling Moss car so a very special one. Although the Healey is the 'cheaper' car, it is a 100S so a rare car and valuable enough in itself.
