I found two John Brim records for 25 cents a piece in a record store. One is on Chess and the other is on Parrot and is on red wax. Store owner must not have known about John Brim because he looked through all of the ones I had and he didn’t say a word. That same day in the same store I also found “ Here’s My Picture “ by Billy Boy and a Sonny Boy Williamson on the Trumpet label also for 25 cents each.

Oh my goodness , I turned green with envy looking at all those 45 rpm labels and artists . Here in Australia we've got nuthin' like this on the same scale of this Austin Record Show and with all those scarce smaller sought after labels . Hell , I'm salivating ! Wish I were there .

Wow this Austin record show is fantastic if this is anything to go by, always something for everyone. I wonder if you will find anything like this in Argentina, for our sake I hope so. My favorite 45s are the $5 and unders - I've found many surprises in those cheap boxes! It's more fun to find the x-pensive ones out there in the wild! Haven't been to a record show in years.
