One of the greatest shows I've seen. I was an 18 year old freshman at UT-Austin. I asked everyone in line if they had an extra ticket and one guy did and he gave it to me for free. You can hear me say "Yeah!" at 4:20 when he starts singing Cohen's "Bird on a Wire." So great to see this video.

Aw I love this! Johnny Cash persevered and he deserved his final hurrah before he passed onto heaven! Oh how good it must feel to have a whole room of people there to see You. Johnny was living the dream!

He's so used to playing in the larger venues that this way smaller bar essentially, more intimate, and people much closer, seemed to gently startle him a bit there in the beginning. A treat to see him in this kind of setting.

Jeff, if you remember Scovill who 'worked' at Emo's (for beers), he let us in the back gate to see the show. what a lucky night we had

2 bands I was in at the time, The Ultramatics and Charley Horse, played that stage earlier in the day (or as I like to say "we opened for Cash" ;-)

Boy Johnny and June are a true love story to think Johnny was gone only 3 short months after June they were meant to be together forever in life and death remarkable believable wow RiPlu both.....💔💝🤩
