Who are having a cost of living crisis, have a homeless and housing crisis, have hospitals with ambulances lining up out the front because the hospitals are under resourced and over worked , as are the ambulance services and police . Tent town citizens don't have the overheads that home owners and renters have .. so more money for grog and the pokies. It is however well known that people increase their gambling habits during bad financial times.

How much of that spending was on card or pay later?

That was due to the huge amount of immigrants coming into the country. More people = more spending. Quite simple really.

Klaus Schwab and his WEF are the economic advisory think tank for the UN and EU. He's got this thing called Stakeholder Capitalism . although most would call it out and out Fascism or at the very least a Technocracy. It's not a solution for most though as we are not the Stakeholders.

To repair? And how you plan to repair it? If 3/4 of our population are useless trash, not able to compete with 3rd world in any field? Lets build hitech facility - and who will work there, former barista from beach cafe? Lets teach kids STEM - and how many of them will be able to learn anything, not just struggle with Arcane Science? Lets build at least manufacturing plant, anybody can twist nuts! - and who will work there, competing with 20K pa Koreans and 5K pa Mexicans?

The sad fact Australians continuously are reminded of is that. When has it ever been the Media's job to inform the public on the crisis situation we are all experiencing. It has become apparent the Gov is not being cooperative &/or transparent by providing information to the public. Why does this current Gov have such a pathetic excuse of being bad communicators.👽👻🤔

The Greens policies seems like what we need. Liberal and labour clearly don’t care. Yes the greens are very small but they can help pass legislations by declining / approving them right? I voted for labor but at this point there’s no diffrrence between labor and liberal, it’s all run by greed, approving policies that fund their own pockets. Let’s come together and give the greens a chance.

According to the opposition huh. It's not just Australia It's the whole world. Energy prices rose in the UK by £94 .00 is the last quarter. What's the opposition going to do about it, what they usually do, deflect the blame, as they did when they were in power.
