I live in Australia my whole life and once when I was wakeboarding in SA (South Australia) on the Murray River and as I was water-skiing along I saw a brown snake about a meter long and 5 minutes later I went past another brown snake about the same size but this time it was only 2 meters away. I freaked out. But apart from that I have barely seen many wild snakes and certainly no wild hippo's!🤣

Honestly venomous snakes are harmless unless you bother them. Won't bite out of aggression but merely defensively - e.g. dog starts sniffing it. Just keep an eye on your dog in the garden and all's fine. Even if you are bitten by a venomous snake in Australia, healthcare here is so good (antivenins are readily available at all hospitals) that you will almost certainly survive without any serious lasting damage. Just don't bother them and enjoy the free pest control and their important role in the ecosystem.

That was one week before the Australian fires at the start of 2020 and the guy went back to the post and just edited: “Damn”

As someone who has lived in Australia for more than 10 years- it really isn't a big deal and not what foreign people think. You get used to it quickly, and stuff is unlikely to bite you if you don't provoke it. Even if you do get bitten the healthcare is pretty good and you're very unlikely to die from a spider or snake bite.

Because it really isn’t that big of a deal. I literally have a white tail spider (pretty damn venomous) living in my room and I let it be because it takes care of all the flies and mosquitoes, which is important coming into the summer. Hasn’t but me once because I ignore it. I haven’t seen snakes in a long time and I will admit am petrified of snakes, but I know, again, if I leave them alone they won’t attack me. We down play it because foreigners make it out to be as if they’re these overly aggressive creatures trying to kill us on a daily basis, when in reality we have brief encounters once in a while, which are all relatively uneventful.

Moving to Australia from the UK is probably the best and WORST thing I've ever done. In summer, you'll come in from a late night and find a giant Spider on the wall of your bedroom. Snakes in you food cupboard, huge geckos leaving shit on the wall, the disgusting smell of bats so bad that you cant open your windows in the boiling heat. Currumbin wildlife sanctuary has a mini train that you can ride through the park that is infested with spiders. Other than that, it's a nice country. Moan over.

Jack doesn't really seem to grasp how much work Example put into his life from a young age to ensure he has money and social security to not need nor see a point in going on a show made primarily to embarrass yourself LIVE just for good money

Why does this guy think he is too good for I’m a celeb? I don’t even know who he is lol. Thinks he’s some big hit singer whilst being on some podcast
@gsw8734
@gsw8734 2 жыл бұрын
I mean considering he has had 6 number 1 hits, played hundreds of stadiums and is living a quite life now. Why would you want to go on I'm a Celebrity when you can just live a quite life.
@jackblaze2015
@jackblaze2015 2 жыл бұрын
Because: 1) he is a big hit singer 2) It's not 'some podcast', it's one of the top podcasts in the UK 3) what he said about I'm a celeb isnt wrong, it's either washed up 'celebrities' or rich people just doing it for a laugh (Duncan Bannatyne for instance).
