I’m not sure if I get 801 straight away granted after 2 years wait cuz I got requested only for police check and health examination from immigration...please advise..thanks heaps

Hi Emma, I am wondering in this current COVID situation what do couples who are living overseas do? I am Australian and my partner is american and has never been to Australia. They say families wont be separated but he cannot enter without a visa. Does that mean he should apply for a travel exemption? or a tourist visa with proof of our marriage so we can enter Australia together?

Hi there i know this public but i do want to know what can you do if you just been used entry for permanent visa and decide to end up the mariage after 2yrs that they become permanent what case would that be and what can you do? I feel so bad for that honest person but taken for granted only...

They asked me for additional information , it's been 11+ months I am waiting for my partner visa ... Please answer me if it is positive response or not??? What are the chance of getting visa .... It will be great if you reply me .. Thank you ❤️

We are 14 months waiting and they have not asked or said anything from us. From what I have read in forums if they are asking for more information it only means what you given them is not enough for them to make a decision. But I am not an expert. So it is a positive thing because they could of declined you on the basis that you didn't submit enough evidence. The thing you need to do is be able to provide them what they are asking for. If not that could be a negative thing. But again I don't know the process. When our visa application was submitted, I gave them every thing I could think of that supports us in the 4 pillars. Then since we submitted if we have given them an update every 3 months, new family pictures, new jointly paid bills. new travels and holidays, new facebook posts, all that have happened since we first put our application in. The point we tried to make is while we were genuine couple at the time of our application, we are still continuing in our genuine relationship today.

@@animaljammer4148 They were just making sure that we are summiting all the documents ... According to experts it simply means our folder has been opened and it's a + point .. hope for the best ....

@@Rasu0708 Good to hear. We are 14 months now on the wait list. We did the 309 offshore. it says 14 - 20 months now. But not a word from them.
