Request: Javanese & Balinese. high Balinese is very similar to Javanese Some Javanese claim they very understand high Balinese, and Balinese understand Kromo Inggil Javanese. Greetings from Tegaldlimo east java Banyuwangi of Balinese descent

because high Balinese is heavily influenced by high Javanese because ancient Javanese kingdoms were very influential throughout nusantara so smaller kingdoms succumbed to Javanese influence

Ooh Another Indonesian Language Comparison Episode and this time was Achenese 😊😊 Aceh is a Special Region and has a autonomy status since 2005 as Aceh Darussalam with the capital is Banda Aceh Majority of Aceh are Muslims but there are some others in minority Like some provinces, Bahasa Indonesia is a official language of Aceh while Achenese Language is a regional language as well 😊😊 Recently, several books from the Philippines are donated to Achenese Government to sharing culture with Achenese and Filipinos including in Bangsamoro 😊😊 For me, even I'm a Christian, I love Aceh, beautiful place and very respective and friendly people and I like to visit Banda Aceh so with all my heart, I hope to see you in Aceh soon and I will be waiting for you 😊😊 Love from Calamba City, Laguna in the Philippines 🇵🇭💕🇮🇩

Comparison of Aceh and Gayo language please. Since there are several ethnic groups in Aceh province, but many people just know about Acehnese, and don't familiar with the other ones, one of them is Gayo language.

Acehnese are descendants of Chamic refugees that went through several migration routes between 15th and 16th century AD. The arrival of Chamic peoples into Sumatra coincided with the Vietnamese invasion of Vijaya (capital of Champa in 1471), which resulted in mass migration of Cham people outside of their homeland, most migrated to Cambodia but some of them migrated to Hainan where they became Utsul people, the Malay peninsula where they would later assimilated with the local Kelantanese Malay population while those that continued westwards ended up in Pasai (later known as Aceh). Based on several research, it is evidenced that Acehnese absorbed many Katuic, Aslian and Peninsular Malayic (especially Kelantanese) words and phonology and Chamic loanwords can also be found in Kelantanese and some Aslian languages. It shows that the migration of Chamic people to Sumatra takes a long process instead of them directly went from Champa to Sumatra and Old Chamic may have spread across Sumatra and Malay Peninsula after the sacking of Vijaya but the latter one went extinct. However, according to some linguists, the relationship between Acehnese and other Chamic languages remains a topic of debate as they were unsure of which Chamic branch is the closest to Acehnese. For now Acehnese belongs to an independent branch of Chamic languages and may have diverged from other Chamic languages before the migration to Sumatra.
