Dear Chris, congratulations for your excellent work, dedication and patience helping many people to maintain their Autel Evo 2, I've watched your two Autel Evo Videos and I was impressed with your tranquility in doing this maintenance on the Drone Autel Evo 2, I'm Brazilian and here we do not have Technical assistance for Autel Evo, I would like to count on your help to buy spare parts for my Autel Evo 2 Pro, such as Circuit board and mini flex cable, you would contact us by E-mail for me to send you pictures of what I need?, one more writing, thank you very much for your attention, have a great week

Hi, does the antenna cable just lay along the inside of the left rear leg... do you know if if this would be the same for the EVO 1, I have both the 2 and 1 but was considering and experiment on the EVO 1 by adding a small WiFi type antenna to the cable end and mounting it so it stuck up vertically from the arm, hopefully adding a bit better signal response. Everyone tries to improve the signal from the controller end, I want to try from the drone end... good video, hope I dont need it... well, apart from perhaps removing the leg... Cheers

Thanks for the video! I could not have done this without you. Any idea why my motor will not spin after replacing the leg? I completely disassembled and checked all connections, wires, and solders. All *looks* good.

Hey man would there be any easy way to pull 5V from this drone to power an external equipment such as a parrot sequoia?

Hi QC, I replaced the right front arm. Everything went well on the repaired arm, but when I turned the drone on the camera did not go in the calibration mode. It did nothing . Then I turn the transmitter on and then the drone. Transmitter would not connect and the drone camera did nothing didn't move a bit when turn on. Any suggestions
@QCGUY3 жыл бұрын
Sorry late reply but when you take something like this apart it’s very easy to forget to attach something, not attach it fully or doing damage. Did you figure it out?
@TheDronzDr3 жыл бұрын
@@QCGUY Yes I did. I took it apart and found the little ribbon on the bottom of the board not connected. That was the hardest ribbon to connect back. Put it all back together and the camera work great 👍 thanks for the video.

Does this void the warranty?

Yes but if you have the ability it’s cheaper and faster then shipping it off to Autel and no refurbished quad in return like they usually do. Fixing them myself also gies me piece of mind that it’s done right.👍🏻

QC Guy...I am trying to repair the front arm. I am having difficult getting the solder to melt on the board? Have you had this issue?

@@danwarrington2508 did you get all the silicone off as well. Dab a little flux on the joints and see if that helps loosen up the solder when you put your iron on it.

Oh man I just crashed my Evo 2 pro and am about to undertake this repair journey. Autel was of no help with their warranty and offered not fix it for a price biting the heels of a new drone. The camera is not cheap... Also the black plastic strip over the front OA sensors is impossible to find online
