Bought this one about three years ago, I have plugged it it to around 8 vehicles over the years, and every time has had the same result, "LINK ERROR". This is just a load of junk, if your thinking of buying one, DONT!!.

There was an OBD-1, and all the carmakers made their own ports and none were in common with others. Dickheads being dickheads. So the gov't stepped in and straightened out the mess and forced the change to the second version of OBD. That's why it's called OBD2.
