I love these videos bc they make me feel so much more validated. I haven't gotten diagnosis see or diagnosed myself, but I'm like 98% sure I have adhd at the very least. I'm going to get a screener at my next doctors appointment

My top two easiest senses to overstimulate are sight/lights and movement. Sound and smell is equal in third place and my taste overstimulation leans more on texture and chewing. The movement thing is probably proprioception and executive dysfunction overlapping, and maybe a lil alexithymia, bc there's nothing more terrible than feeling my heart race and my joints start freezing on me from exhaustion. Then when that happens, it feeds panic into the cycle and my day is ruined. Sensory seeking for me is spicy foods (grew up with it, now anything too sweet or too bland makes me wanna riot), floor sitting, and burrito-ing myself in a perfectly soft blanket. I think putting these facts out there might help us normalize different sensory needs while externalizing and validating our own, so feel free to reply with yours. There's no shame.

my main special interest, animals, specifically cats, has been an interest of mine for 18 years (2-now). anime has been a special interest for 12 years (8-now) especially pokemon. art has been a special interest for 18 years (2-now). harry potter was a special interest for me for about 11 years (7-18), although i am not too invested in it anymore, it was very important to me btw, i am autistic! and 20 if you want an age range for the interests

I'm a bit confused about the second to last one. How could you not hear both at the same time? Or is it just that you can follow both at the same time? They're pretty distinct to me, though the guy is going fast enough that it's hard to follow.
