I have no idea how you do it -- I'm 53, can't hold down relationships, cancelled a mortgage at the last minute (so still renting), dropped out of uni (twice) and failed so many businesses I've lost count! Sometimes the best I can manage is getting dressed, and even that can be too much at times!

We can see you're in bad shape, among all those triggering things. If you're not feeling like doing a video, don't push yourself. All of us can understand. Do what is good for you. IndiAndy and Purple Ella take a break too. We'll be here when you are ready. I wish I could help more. In your videos you sometimes say to breath when anxiety is overwhelming. So breath, breath, breath.

I sooo relate to your story in there about the sprinkles and your son! I have two little girls and they add so much to my sensory input (and overload) every day. Out of curiosity, do you happen to have any videos more specifically addressing being a parent who is on the spectrum and/or dealing with sensory issues specifically while balancing parenting a young child...they add so much noise, mess, touching, visual chaos, etc to my day and it's been hard for me to find resources online from other parents going through a similar stage or experience. Thanks for everything you put out. I've really been soaking up you're channel!

I needed this Dan I spend everyday wondering why I never feel like I am getting any closer to my goals I feel like I need someone to just give me the steps so I can do them and I am so scared that the course I am doing in uni i am going to fail like i did my last assignment and that i am not cut out to be an interior design i feel like crying constantly my money was cut in half which means I am struggling financially I am constantly tired my place always feels like a mess no matter what I do I can't concentrate on my uni work to do it , I constantly get distracted I just feel hopeless I wake up most days and just think honestly what is the point I am in a never ending cycle I don't know how to break or achieve anything new my mom died last september I just found out her husband has been flirting and going on dating sites talking and being obscene with other women while my mom lay dying in bed I have no family in the UK they are all in the USA they are my other halfs family because mine are abusive I feel like everyday is a constant fight and meltdowns are building it's nice to know I am not alone. Also that jab made me feel awful for a good 2 days i was shaking feeling nausea, headache temperature pain, tiredness it's awful 😪😕

Take some time to treat yourself to a nap. That usally helps an whole lot. Went for a walk also today and feeling quite energized. Had both my pfizer shots and have had no issues thankfully(slight headache this morning but just from lack of caffeine). Best of luck brah wish ya the best. A new home is a big accomplishment.

I've had both Pfizer jabs and side effects vary per person. I'm an NHS worker admin. After my first jab I was so tired and my arm hurt but the staff at vaccinated centre were brilliant. My second jab I was so tired and my arm hurt but after 24 hrs I was fine. My work load is going back to pre Covid levels which is something I havent done before because I joined NHS during March 2020. I've been on the brink of meltdowns this week but I'm worried that if I have a meltdown then my boss is going to fire me but I'm going to do the best I can. Dan I will continue to love and support the channel. Much love from Northern Ireland.

I had a full meltdown at work my 2nd day back from a year in iso (except my introverted roommate) NTs just don't understand that it's not so simple as to take a few minutes to "gather" ourselves. I was so humiliated as I've never worked with some of my new colleagues in person and their impression of me is a 40 year old woman who can't stop crying. Any tips for recovering my reputation?

I know how you feel as I am currently in the same position. Work have put me on a queue where the instruction aren't clear and I am on 100% marking. This causes enough stress then when I brought up this issue and I was told "Read between the lines." They have since had my report and I was told "It is only a suggestion and we have no legal requirement to follow it." On Wednesday I have a hearing for "Not Fit For Work."

for most vaccines (i.e. flu or tetanus) I only get a sore arm. The day of my second pfizer shot, I got a headache (along with the sore arm) within a few hours of getting the shot, and the entire next day, I had chills and full body aches. I wound up basically camping out in a recliner chair in my living room and living on tylenol. Thankfully, all symptoms had pretty much gone away by the second day. Hope you feel better.

I hear you about estate agents and meltdown! I was exactly the same a couple of weeks ago with the ups&downs til we found our new flat we're renting :S I always need my sunglasses too; generally don't go anywhere without them due to sun and indoor lighting! (Sunshine also makes me sneeze a lot, which looks great in a pandemic 😂) Remember to do things that recharge you amidst all the stressors *virtual hugs* x

I think I'm going to be having a meltdown soon as I am having my Universal Credit claimant commitments reinstated and there is no way I'm going to be able to cope with 35hrs job search and full time employment. I know people will say "Oh just lie", well for someone on the spectrum lying is typically not our strong point, also I'm an alcoholic who will be 2 years sober in June and I'm worried I will relapse due to the stress and threat of sanctions. As regards to the full time work, I'm hoping to be able to do full time in the future, but my last job shot my confidence to pieces and not to mention the virus setting me back. I just don't know what to do. I was officially diagnosed in 2019 at age 34 after suspecting something was wrong since I was 12 but no one listened to me. So this will be the first time stepping back into the workplace since my diagnosis.

I know it's hard to get rest with all the stuff going on, even with a 2 year old. When my 2 were 8 and 2, they decided to throw around baby powder on everything in the family room. When I was trying to study IT, the older one kept on taking her Palomino rabbit out and run around with it. It would mess on the floor. I'd have to put the rabbit up. She would do the same again. Her little sister a few years later would take out a whole gallon of milk, pour it on the floor and exclaim M is for milk and M is for mop. This was done repeatedly each day. She had a strong compulsion to do that each day. We had put a special strap on the refrigerator. It only worked until she saw her older sister open the refrigerator. We had told the older sister not to open the fridge in front of her. Other times there was coffee grounds she threw on the floor and danced in them. Another time there was sugar. Both of them had complicated creative messes they would make. We had just moved in a house that was abandoned for four years. I'll be praying for you.

I do hope you recover soon from your symptoms after the vaccine shot. As far as your housing stress, I can't believe this ironic coincidence. I've spent all day online researching the process and added costs to buy a house. I have an appointment with a loan officer tomorrow for prequalification. The more I read, the more I just felt it's all too much. My apartment landlord wants to know in a week which lease term I'm going to choose. Less time equals higher rent rate. My anxiety was getting worse. I decided to get on You Tube to take a break from my uncertainties, and just so happened to click on your vlog. ( I'm also in your Level up Autism course. Do sign up folks. It's awesome!) Be well Dan, and trust your instincts, as you often inspire me to do so!

You’ve got so many things going at once anyone would get stressed and worn out doing all that you do. That said, the Aspie acceleration and intensity certainly makes it worse. A couple of thoughts. Melatonin works great to chill out to sleep or nap. The very low carb/sugar and high protein with fat diet really does work at keeping glucose regulated, and glucose is a main ingredient of stress and inflammation.

You’re right, God works in mysterious ways. I remember the spouse had very much wanted to get a high profile project for his company but it didn’t go through. Later on, after the project was done, we heard the client was an absolute nightmare from friends in the industry who worked on it. So we realised we dodged a bullet on that one. We only realise it was His mercy and goodness for us on hindsight. I bet there is a better place out there for you and your family. Hugs.

Both jabs kicked my ASS. The flu shot does as well but this was worse. 3 days of flulike, and I didn't get over all the fatigue (which was the worst) for 5 days. And as far as the Life-stress, I feel you man. My son is also very 2, with inadequate indoor space, and I'm trying to figure out how to Build more house (Though we're Super lucky to be out in the country where he can play outside) But the thousand little things that need doing, and planning, and and and, topped with autism depression and anxiety and trying to hold all of it in my head, as well as doing most of the cooking and grocery shopping is just .... *sigh* it's rough, and leaves me very little time or room in my head for my own coping strategies. So I get it. Hang in there man. Also your Brillia link doesn't seem to be working, though it could be a browser issue on my end.
