Sunroofs are pointless. Honda has made this sub-4m sedan the best looking sedan ever in its segment. If I have to buy an affordable sedan, this would be it.

New honda Amaze Looks beautiful N gorgeous... Cool.. Bulky and sporty. I used Gen 1 Amaze during 2016 to 2023.(diesel model ), That was 4 star safety rated. Now Its Global NCAP safety rating MUST be minimum 5 star. If a car like suzuki d'zire 2024 can score five star then, Honda five star rating of amaze is highly expected. Honda must first send it for Global NCAP, after that booking must be opened. Still many people are repenting who booked Kia Seltos 3 years ago and got disappointed when it scored 3 star. This shouldn't be happen in case of amaze that holds logo of world wide well reputed car brand Honda. If cost cutting required remove a few features but no compromise with build quality. People have no trust on Bharat NCAP, ANCAP. So made in India Amaze must achieve 5 star in Global NCAP.

Hondas are very reliable and i also heard 7/10 of their cars ever manufactured are on roads even today only thing it looks like india is not their priority and dnt want to bring anything new . I hope it changes . If you love simple no non sense car that keeps running for 15 to 20 years buy it . They give 10 years brand warranty.suggest checking Windsor as well .

Since Dzire has lost its 4cyl engine,this seems better. Looks wise I like both but this is better from back and this gets more useful features over the Dzire like Ada’s,partly digital customisable drivers display rather than a sunroof

Thank you Honda, for creating proper variants! Unlike *cough* Kylaq *cough*! Each variant is worth buying depending on the budget of course. VX and ZX are both excellent options, V is great for budget conscious buyers but you don't feel like you're getting a barebone experience like the Dzire LXi or Kylaq base variant.

I think the USP of the Amaze is its IVTEC 4-cylinder engine with the CVT. Combined with its clean looks, this is all the car one needs for city and occasional intercity drives.

I see comments against sunroof as a useful feature. This is the woke perspective invoked by auto influencers and spread like wildfire. Sunroof is not just for allowing sunlight. It is a great tool to let out the hot air if the car was parked in sunlight in afternoon, as the warm air is near the ceiling because of low density, and if you switch on AC with sunroof open, then the lighter warm air is easily pushed upwards while the AC pushed cold air underneath. Also, the second use-case is it makes the occupants, especially the rear passengers feel spacy because of the sunroof (unopened)

If you look at the prices, VX had an increment of only 90 k as compared to manual making it a great deal and you don't need ADAS so VX which used to be the top end previously would be the best whether you need the automatic or manual

One area where Amaze would score over Dzire is the drive quality and backseat comfort. Real life mileage is to be seen in stop go traffic of cities like Bangalore and Mumbai. A microhybrid would have been a great addition in the new Amaze to improve fuel efficiency.

Waiting for its crash test results, it would be a shame if this car scores less than 5 stars as people here seem to be commenting that honda didn't give the sunroof because it messes with the structural integrity,( seriously)😅 it's just cost cutting. Dzire costs less, has more features apart from the adas, and even got the 5 star rating with the sunroof as well. Let's see if the amaze with the rigid structure because of not giving of sunroof makes it 5 star safe or not. India being a sensitive market honda must know what is in trend and what the customers desire, despite being the sunroof being useless but still it is in trend so they must learn to go with the trend or else they'll be left out as its clear evident seeing their sales figure.

Sunroof does affect structural rigidity of the frame + Honda gave better features such as Lane Watch and adaptive cruise control etc which are far more used than say a sunroof. And this car will score 5 stars for sure, infact, in addition to that, it might score more than the Dzire as it has ADAS and it does not, so having ADAS also adds to the points.

The car is value for money, i own the current version and its has its setbacks. Pick up is slow, steering is heavy and clutch throw is not that great, touch screen feel and features are not up to the mark. But still it is a very good car to consider at this price range and very reliable 4 cylinder engine and space management . The new release dint excite me visually and not much features added apart from the ADAS.

My last car was a City CVT which I exchanged for a Carens DCT this year got a fantastic resale for the car after serving me well for more than 7 years and 41k kms...just changed the tyres and yes 😀the head unit that wasn't upto to the mark to start with...

Honda wanted to compete with the latest Dzire, so they immediately changed the bumper, tail lights and fuel cap externally and changed the interiors with the Elevate ones. I bet this car is designed in a month. But, it's really amazing that we are getting something reliable and amazing which is much better than the Dzire (no offence pls).
