this is wrong the gst on all cars should be increased to 28% and insurance on that also should be increased to 28% and toll collection charges should be increased by 28% the bank loan should also increase to12 % minimum. the car prices in India are so cheap, overall there should be increase in cars price by at least 20% i can even recommend a increase in road tax up to 10% less priced cars should be taxed more. Because we are paying road tax, toll should also be increased. By doing so we will be able to contribute to the nation growth.

@@DRBB123 dude, the turbocharger is a diesel domine product. If we are talking auxiliary boost for small petrol engines then a 48V mild hybrid ISG CVT or a strong hybrid eCVT transaxle is the way to go.

The Triber's greenhouse is a work of art and won't need any changes. Can't say the same about the engine. Not even its turbo iteration. Reno France has a new 1.2 liter full hybrid engine. That or a 1 litre, 3 cylinder, 48V mild hybrid CVT transaxle for the Triber would be brilliant. But again, the speed at which electric powertrains are catching up, I don't think Reno would take that route. An electric Triber wouldn't be such a bad thing except for its FWD layout.

@7567_Rex excuse dude, Reno uses a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder full hybrid engine on its Austral and the Rafale. The Austral's E-Tech full hybrid powertrain is turbocharged which the Triber wouldn't need. This transaxle uses a dog clutch for the switch unlike planetary gears used on Toyota's synerge drive. Needless to say, 1.2 liter engine in a sub 4m silhouette means only 28% in taxes as against 43%. Making it a far better choice than toyota-suzuki's 1.5 liter, 3 cylinder full hybrid eCVT transaxle.

Yeah but the RS version comes with 2.0L. If the base Octavia comes with 2.0L, it will definitely eat into the sales of the RS which is already very expensive as it is sold as complete import unit and its cheaper to mod the base 2.0L Octavia (if that comes) than buy the RS.

Skoda and volkswagen needs to update the recent product with adas and not continue launching product which will sell in single digit . Auto journalist may be very happy with these products but 99% of the country won't bother to buy these product accept octavia. They need to check are they super premium brand or in between mass and super premium . I won't pay 60 lac on road for skoda superb .
