So in this case I did the uvs on the initial low poly model I made at the beginning of the video. I could have done uvs right there, but I waited until sculpting just in case I changed the shape while sculpting. Since the sculpting didn't really change the shape much I just did the uvs to the low poly. So the uvs here could have been made immediately after modeling as well.

I am primarily a blender user and I've gotta say, the new UI they're giving it certainly makes things a lot easier to use :)

@Sackandjam4 жыл бұрын
When he imported the model to zbrush he most likely did 'Split to parts' in Subtools menu. The mug was made out of different meshes in Maya so Zbrush can divide them into different subtools, then he just used 'Solo' mode when working on individual pieces.

Я несколько не умиляю заслуг автора, все работы очень сочные, и сам Я являюсь профаном в моделировании, и только учусь, но все же очень интересно почему именно так, ведь везде в уроках говорят, что нужно опираться на 4-х угольники.

Not always. Usually I harden edges where I have uv cuts. The thing is Painters normal map baker is not really that great. You can get better looking normal maps in Marmoset or even Xnormal. Obviously that requires the extra step of importing that into Painter. So if you want cleaner looking normal maps I recommend baking outside of Painter.
