Awesome work, I am curious what would be the price client may pay for for such work according to your work time and so on. Just curiosity how much something similar is valued for clients. Thanks
@3dextrude5 жыл бұрын
If someone had paid to make it specifically for them I think somewhere between $150-250 dollars would be reasonable. I haven't ever sold that way, but I have seen prices from outsource studios and they would charge something like that.

Hey there, Sorry I'm asking just to make sure I understand your method. While in Zbrush you DynaMeshed some of the table pieces. Also after you finish the sculpt, you moved directly to the Substance. You must have lost some UV Data during the Dynameshing process. Or is there another retopo stage that we don't see in video before you move on to Substance? (Great video Btw.)
@3dextrude5 жыл бұрын
I used the original low poly model in Substance, which had uvs. Uvs don't matter for the high poly model from zbrush.
@gERon85 жыл бұрын
@@3dextrude Thanks for your answer but I wanted to clear out one last thing. So, If I understand correctly, You have one uv'ed low poly and one sculpted high poly that does not have correct uvs. However you can bake the High poly to your low poly in Substance, even if the high one does not have the proper or correct uvs? That still can bake using the geometry without needing that same uv data.. Am I getting it right?

You start with low poly, then going high, then baking high on low right? Anyways this could be a game ready asset?

It's not really meant to be an in depth tutorial, it's more of an overview of the process. Kind of like a speed painting but for 3d art.
